Stunning little campground on the Snowy River in Kosciuszko National ParkGreat little spot for swimming and fishing if the weather is good. The camp site is beautiful and right on the edge of the Snowy River. It was empty when we visited so had the whole place to ourselves.

Basic bush camping on the edge of stunning limestone cliffs. Talia Beach is just to the south of the campground, however be careful as strong rips can be present, and this area is known for large waves.

Free camping in the remains of an old mill town, suitable for caravans. Grimwade was a mill town, but all that is left of the old town site is some footings and scattered remnants. You can easily see where the houses once stood, with remnant gardens and fruit trees.

An unusual site, being located inside a volcano crater. The pine tree covered crater rim provides good wind protection. A range of mainly exotic trees provide ample shade and, together with short green grass, a park-like atmosphere. Bird life is limited.
