Great clean hot showers, nice park. Lawns and tables. It’s not a party place. There’s a great place for children to play.

I understand that there are many rules here but some of the reviews are just plain wrong or they are just pissed off people. The rules are the same here as nearly any campground I’ve been to with one major exception. They enforce the rules. I prefer anarchy but if we are going to live closely together in a society, the fact there are rules that are applied evenly is a GOOD thing. I swear and drink plenty in my trailer but I understand that in polite society with children around that’s inappropriate to do outside. I’m sorry for our world that others don’t understand that. The grounds were well maintained and the grass was lush and green and not “dead”. I’ve been to enough places with a no carpet rule that’s not enforced and the dead grass didn’t help anyone. This campground even has little flower beds spread around. I used the laundry facilities just by walking in and using them- no appointments needed. I saw plenty of people just walk up to the pool and use it. Even children were allowed to be there and the playground and have fun! The showers and men’s bathroom were clean and maintained. I used the facilities regularly and the toilets were cleaned several times a day. I am usually happy if they are cleaned every couple of days at most places. I’d love to complain about the place, I really would. The reality is I stayed a week and it was a peaceful time. I wasn’t kept up until midnight on Friday and Saturday with people getting increasingly louder and their children running amok. If that’s what you want, go to one of the other 10,000 campgrounds. If you are looking for a quiet clean campground, then stay here.

I agree with the previous reviewer; way too may rules! In addition to those they mentioned, there is a rule that you can’t swim alone. My husband was told to get out of the pool because he was there by himself. He needed someone to come and babysit him in order to swim. You also can’t have any outside lights on your trailer - not even a step light so you don’t trip in the dark; even though they have bright yard lights throughout the campsite that light things up way more than any trailer light. The people in the trailer next to us were told to shut their light off because it was against the rules. Ditto on the ‘no mat rule’, the ‘reserve the laundry and the pool rule’. Generally, we’re out here camping to get away from all the rules and regulations of the city. In all the places we’ve been across the US in the past year, this place had the most rules, by far.

This is a nice campground with a LOT of rules involved in your stay...from the minute we arrived we were told which way to drive, what we could and couldn't do and as a part of our innaguration we were told "no swearing allowed". We are responsible, sober and well mannered adults in our 60's and felt somewhat offended by their need to address this as part of our introduction to this park as if we were youngsters. The campsites are on gravel with dead grassy areas between, but you are not allowed to use your outdoor rugs because it might kill the grass. There are literally 2 full pages of regulations at this park. In addition, one of the reason's we picked this park was because they advertise both a swimming pool and laundry facilities, and yet upon reading through the rules we found out that we needed to make a reservation with the park for a time to use both the pool or laundry facilities. To add to this, they have no showers and if you are hooked up to their sewer you are not allowed to use the bathrooms that are for "tent campers only"

Nice county park with large fields, a walking path and a terrific playground. Price was $20, self pay. 50amp only (at least our pedestal did not have 30a) and water. Site had a picnic table. There is even a dump station. Easy access from interstate. Gas stations are 2 minutes away.

The campground is nice but, some spots are pretty small. There’s always someone walking between campers so you never know when a head may be peeking through your windows. The bathrooms and showers were clean and didn’t smell. The fish cleaning area was clean also. Lots of seasonal campers and kids everywhere during the day.

Clean facility. Friendly seasonal campers. Hard to catch the office personnel actually in the office. We had a full hook up site. Some sites are right on top of each other. Some sites have a little more room.
