our story: we pulled in and our site was filthy, garbage can was in the fire pit, the ground was totally uneven and dirt only. on the ground was a pot pipe, smashed cans and plastic lids everywhere! just plain trashy. we saw folks driving through with babies on their laps, a women applying deodorant in the parking lot. in general a pretty sketchy place, we are not prudes but this place was not for us! we were not comfortable at all. we wanted to drive over to the ocean but we were afraid to leave our camper (our home). I can only say if you don't care about your things (this is an assumption as we didn't have anything taken in the 2 hours we were there ) then go ahead and stay here. If you do care, I would not spend the night, we moved on and found another RV park about 10 minutes away that is family friendly and clean and has a feeling of security and peace.

We drove through this campground just to check it out as our kids live in the area. Looked like mostly long term renters many with older shabby units crammed together off of narrow lanes with dead ends. Very little room to turn even a car around. Best to scout site before parking. Some sections on the street side of the lake would be easier to maneuver, but the sites across the bridge on the terraces are small. Looks more like a trailer park with potted plastic plants and many service vehicles parked along the road. Also, it is situated just below I-15 so a bit noisy. We didn't check out any of the facilities like the restrooms or laundry because we wouldn't be staying here. Kind of creepy.

We booked here because only a few parks had availability for our dates. Pros: pricing, San Diego is 45 mins away. Cons: About 5 miles of winding road off the highway, run down, no quiet hours/ quiet hours are not enforced ,cars coming in and out of the park at all times of the day and night, most of the park is permanent residents with lots of stuff accumulated around sites, old washer/ drier machines, weekend partying crowd, really bad pavement, restroom facilities seem clean but very old.
