The campsite is neat and tidy, the Barthrooms need a bit of TLC....The hotwater system is not great, at times it will go super cold which it not pleasant. I'm not use to a campsite allowing music, not really appreciated. Lucky for me it was music that was bearable. No one checks if the music is too loud or if it played later than is allowed. We arrived the Thursday and the oars were only given to us the Friday, we try to make the best of the amount of time we can camp. On the website it mentions hiking and Mountain Biking we had no clue of any of the routes...this was a big disappointment for us as we brought our bikes etc...There was no one to ask, we tried asking the grounds-keeper but he had no clue. This is one of the biggest attraction for us and we could'nt do this. The campsite should at least have information put on the wall near the dish-washing area....they have all the rules on the walls and that's about it. Huge disappointment!! The camp spots should also be marked out where your section starts and ends....it could be a problem if it is crowded.
