Stayed in a cabin, inside was clean. Outside hasn't had paint in long time, wood exposed from no paint has turned gray and is splitting. One pool empty, the other pool, lets say, didn't look inviting. Camp store had ice and firewood, that was it. All shelves empty and dirty. Receptionist claimed COVID caused, from not knowing if anyone would be using facility. We made reservation in January for July. Ohio COVID restrictions were lifted the beginning ig June, plenty of time to TIDY up before the season. Reception desk cluttered with papers. We checked in at 2:30pm, at 6:30 pm got a call asking if we still planned on coming. Restrooms and showers clean but very worn. Our cabin faced what by the looks of it was intended to be a large open shelter with lighting. Instead it is filled with broken equipment, a huge lawn sweeper, piles of lumber non functioning golf cart and assorted junk. Wonderful view. Grass was cut, overall the grounds look nice, the buildings need attention, gravel drives have many mud holes and standing puddles. If you have seen the photos on their website, you will be greatly dissappointed.

We stayed here on our summer roadtrip with our stop being for our teen son and his thrill seeking aunt and uncle to go to the famous CedarPoint Amusement Park. Overall, this campground was pretty average. The benefit was it's location and access off the main road. We have a 40' fifth wheel and initially they put us in a very tight spot and we could not back in with a tree at either side of the entry points and 1 directly across from us. So we asked to move, and they moved us to a much more open site. All sites were grass (which really stunk since it rained much of the time we were there). We had full hook-ups for 50amp at site 48 and it was right across the road from the 1 pool. It advertises 2 pools, but at this time, the 2nd pool was empty. The pool was not heated...so very chilly. This campground is very tight for bigger rigs to drive around. As far as the price, I think it is extremely high for what the campground has. It is a Passport America campground and that's the reason we chose it because were able to stay there for about $40 a night. If you are not a Passport America member and also going to CedarPoint, I would probably stay at CedarPoint and do their campground package. Overall, it would be ok to stay again or okay for a stop over. We give it 3 stars.
