This is an unusual place. It is a beautiful property on a beautiful lake. There really are no “sites”. It’s just, “park where you like near an electric hookup and we’ll run a water hose to ya”. We were visiting family for a graduation so we spent most of our time with them and not at the campground. Two of my grandsons came over and we had a blast fishing in a rental boat ($45 per day including trolling motor) on the lake. It’s not your typical RV park but it worked great for us and we enjoyed it. The guys who run the place were awesome.

Thinking back, I must have seen an old website (they are under new ownership) and so the site did not live up to our expectations. On the positive side, the place is very pretty and super quiet and they had (free) firewood waiting for us. We are in a 41' fifth wheel and we scraped the rear end coming off the main road and again at a small spillway we had to drive through to get to our site. We were in site #45 but there is no way they that many site. My guess is they may have six for trailers, though there are electrical boxes all over the place there are not obvious ways to get to them. In our case, we were on a small plateau that only had one way to get into it which meant we had to make a U-turn in our site to get out. It was doable, but the guy down the hill from us (in an Airstream) was going to have to back out of his site. We took a different road out of the park so didn't scrape, but it required us to shift into 4 wheel drive. We entered in Gate 1 and left by Gate 3. I'd say the site itself was fine, but the park has no dump facility (not at the sites or anywhere else). The men's room is pretty bare bones and does not have a shower and although the women's bathroom does, my wife and another camper we talked with did not feel comfortable using it. I think there may be a couple of families living there full time and it seemed like the woman's restroom was setup as someone's 'home bathroom'.

There were people coming to fish in the lake but we did not fish ourselves. It would be a fine place for a smaller trailer or tent campers, though there is not much level ground. We would not stay here again for two reasons, we are too big and they don't have a dump station.
