In general, this park lives up to its reputation for beauty. However, our experience was marred by a couple of unforeseen issues. The main problem was the inconvenient location of the electrical box, which was situated a considerable distance from the RV pad. It was nestled in a gravel area between the rows and had to be shared with the RV behind ours, making it quite a stretch to connect. If we hadn't brought our extension cord, we would have been unable to plug in. This detail was not mentioned anywhere, and not all RV owners carry extension cords, so it could have been a significant disappointment. Moreover, considering the high cost of the site, it would have been nice to have a picnic table included. There was also a deep, unmarked drainage ditch at the entrance that was so hazardous, a fellow camper felt compelled to warn us about it as we arrived.

Our trip to Hurricane and Zion was made more enjoyable due to our pleasant and convenient accommodation at Willow Wind. We easily parked our 38-foot fifth wheel in our designated spot with the help of a park employee. All the amenities, including cable TV and WiFi, functioned perfectly and offered fast and reliable service. Approximately a quarter of the RV Park's occupants are long-term residents. Pets are allowed and the park is well-maintained. The plentiful trees and grassy spots at most of the campsites create a cool and tranquil atmosphere. The location was exactly what we needed, being near Sand Hollow, Zion, OHV trails, bicycle paths, eateries, and shops. The staff at WillowWind were accommodating and extremely friendly.

During our journey towards Alberta, we decided to take a detour due to the fantastic weather conditions and explore Hurricane for a few days. To our surprise, we managed to secure an excellent location upon arrival. We plan to make this RV park a regular stop on our future trips. We're incredibly grateful.

Our stay at Willowwind was absolutely incredible, and we can't wait to return. Although this review is a bit delayed, we spent a significant amount of time there, from October 12th to November 9th, 2022. Throughout our stay, we were impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the park. Doug, one of the staff members, was always friendly and welcoming. We opted to use the resort showers instead of our own RV's, and we were pleased to find them consistently clean. We did laundry multiple times a week and found the facilities well-maintained. The resort's proximity to Zion, St. George, and various state parks and hiking trails was a great convenience. We frequently used the communal fire pit and pool table, both of which were inviting. We were fortunate to have a shady spot, though the weather was quite temperate. The resort's roads and parking areas were broad and paved. The staff's dedication to the resort was evident in its smooth operation. We didn't encounter any issues with Wi-Fi connectivity (we also had a pep-wave router), and our cell service was excellent. Our fellow guests were quiet and friendly.

This is such a nice place to stay when visiting Utah. Super clean, great staff. Greeted by Sydney who took us right to our site. Nice bathrooms with showers. Laundry too. No fires pits but propane fires okay. Right downtown with many stores and restaurants near by. Flat concrete pads and plenty of shade trees. About 25 mile from Zion. Only negative was that there was no picnic table.

We really enjoyed this location. Showers and Bathrooms were nice and clean and private one room situations. We got a super site that had grass which was great for our dog. They have laundry and a "Dog Wash" unless you have a small dog you can disregard that dog wash, its outside plastic basin that our border collie could have jumped right out of. The site was paved and easy to level. My only complaint was the "Super Site" area backed up to a highway and there were trucks coming and going all night and since our bedroom is at the back of the RV and this was a back in site we heard the trucks coming and going all night. Not Terrible but kind of annoying. All in all I would def stay here again even with the truck noise.

We stayed here when visiting, Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon, it was easy access to everything, and is a beautiful park. The bathrooms are super clean, and nice, and the wife is great, my wife and I were able to work from here, and the clubhouse is great. great for biking through, and nice access to laundromat, resteraunts and grocery. Would not stay in 110 again as you get a lot of the evening sun and was quiet hot from that, otherwise the trees were nice and shady. DON"T DRIVE ON THE GRASS!

Simple but decently spaced sites and a ton of lush trees make for a lush, friendly, and calm neighborhood feel. Conveniently located in amidst the offerings of Hurricane and nearby St George.

Overall this place was great. We stayed here while visiting Zion NP, which is about 35 minute drive away. The roads and sites are paved, reasonably wide. Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean, doors with security access codes on them. Laundry room was large with several functioning machines. They are located in Hurricane which is not too far from I-15 and is a fairly large town with a Walmart, Ace Hardware, etc. Overall my wife loved it and felt very comfortable here. I prefer being a little more remote, perhaps a bit less like a new subdivision, but overall I agree it was a high quality operation. The provided us a coaxial cable for the cable hook-up since we had not brought one - which was very nice perk. One small negative was that the site had no fire pit. The camp did have a large, gas-fired community fire-pit adjacent to the bathrooms where people sometimes gathered.

We wanted to be close to Zion NP, but the closer campgrounds were full. We chose WillowWind which was 25 miles from the NP. We didn’t mind, as the drive to Zion NP is beautiful! The sites are cement and unfortunately, don’t include a picnic table or fire pit. The utilities are at the back of the lot, so we had to use two sewer hoses to reach the sewer connection. The park had many long-term seasonal RVs, but each site was well maintained. This is probably due to having to sign a 4-page rules and regulations document before you could go to your site. The park had 2 great laundry locations. OTA channels were limited, so we used the free digital cable that was offered and it worked well. We had full-strength AT&T 5G with great upload/download speeds. It was a very quiet RV park and we would definitely come again.

Fantastic RV park. About 20mins from Zion National Park. Big rig friendly, 50 amp, 30 amp, and cable TV available. Park also provides fairly decent WiFi. Note most sites are a bit narrow but long. Bathroom at park are very nice and clean. RV park is very well maintained, and quite. Grocery store across the street. Lots of place to get gas/diesel and a bite to eat.

Very very clean! Extremely nice employees! Lots of shade trees in lush grassy areas between rv sites. Excellent WiFi and cell service,7 min walk to grocery store. I have paid a lot more for a lot less, definitely one of the best RV parks I’ve ever started at.

Beautifully maintained small campground. Full hookups includes free basic cable & lots of shade.. Clubhouse with pool table, games and movies. Hotel across the street allows guests to use pool. (As they have companion guests frequently stay at the hotel.) We were pleasantly surprised at the friendly and gracious staff. Constantly puttering around campground to ensure the best possible experience for guests. My only issue with this place was the lack of picnic tables. But a wonderful staff member, whose name I am sorry to say escapes me. Brought one of 3 the park floates around as requested. Which was a wonderful surprise after a long day at Zion national park. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay.

Stayed here with the family on a recent trip to Southern Utah. Reservation and check-in went smoothly. Staff were very helpful and attentive even lending us an extension cord as ours was not long enough to reach the electrical hook up. Easy drives to St. George, Zion National Park and Cedar City. Grocery store, restaurants and gas stations just outside the park. Most sites were pretty shady which is a must during hot months. There was a small water issue in the site next to us but it was fixed and cleaned up quickly. Would definitely book another stay if in the area again.

We stayed at Willow Wind for 2 months while using Hurricane as a home base to explore much of Southern Utah. The location is amazing! Grocery store across the street, walking distance to a coffee shop, and a WalMart just down the road. The park grounds are very well manicured. Excellent shade cover if you're visiting during the Summer. The staff were helpful and friendly. Beware of the sprinklers, they will soak your rig and patio furniture :) but that's how the grass is so green and the trees are so healthy- worth it! The Bucks ACE hardware next door sells plastic covers to protect your patio if needed. The only negative review we have for Willow Wind is that they don't allow USPS package/mail delivery. We tried to order a pair of shoes on Amazon and wasn't able to select the carrier, it came USPS and they turned it away at the front desk. As a full timer, it's frustrating to do an extended stay at an RV park and not be able to get mail. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

We originally booked 2 days and then later added 2 more days. Unfortunately they could keep us in the same spot for all 4 days but moving was easy. The campground is well laid out with large paved spots in all areas. They seem to have a large number of longer term renters, I'm guessing snowbirds, in the park and they seem to be spaced out well throughout the park. It was very quite for being a pretty large campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. In fact when I inquired about a car wash in the area for washing my fifth wheel the lady in the office called her husband to find out where he goes. Wifi was very good and fast in both spots. Definitely will stay here again.

This was our second night with our 21 foot travel trailer. We had never used the sewer hookup and were scared frankly after seeing the movie RV. LOL The park host was SO friendly and helpful explaining all sorts of important details and giving us RV tips. Our spot had a small lawn. The shower/bathroom was amazing. They were all completely private and super clean and close to our spot. Grocery store close by. They also have WiFi as a bonus.
