A number of scattered sites over about 5k on river flats by the wide, shallow, upper Snowy River.
A rain-shadow area, fostering wattle, cypress pine and White Box woodlands. Can be hot in summer. Remote, quiet camp, pleasant if not too hot/dry. Similar sites across the boarder in NSW, before the Barry Way climes steeply out of the gorge to Jindabyne.
