I am very torn on how to rate this campground. The owners are very nice and very accommodating, I’ll start there. It is tucked away up against a creek but close to Lake Erie so the location was ok. The actual sites were just gravel with some very oddly laid out concrete pads. There was water and electricity but no sewer. The gravel was very soft so if you have a heavier rig then you’ll want to put something down under the jacks. They had a few acres of just grass that they mowed almost every day while we were there which we found quite weird. There were also a bunch of long term (we assume) campers there that looked more like they were storing their trailers there. Was told they had showers and bathrooms with new floors but when I walked in the two toilets had rubberized floors that felt like you were going to fall through them. The one working shower sat between the two toilets and didn’t even have a curtain. Everyone there also constantly talked about needing to visit done warehouse a few minutes away but that place was just a surplus hoarders den, I wonder if they are getting paid to advertise. The last thing was that there was essentially no Verizon signal at all for us. I don’t think I’d stay there again unless it was just a stopping point for a night or two.

Didn't want to miss the opportunity to review this amazing little gem. Where to start? Uncle Johns Elk Creek Trailers Campground is stunning. My wife and I both remote work and decided to stay at Elk Creek Trailers campground for the week. The experience has been amazing. The location is walking to distance to all the major restaurants and shopping. Very dog friendly but everyone is good about noise. The grounds are maintained meticulously with amazing and friendly staff. We both work full time jobs and we’re able to use our mobile hot spots for service. We average 20-30 zoom calls a week and had such good service no one knew any differently. Office staff is friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back to Elk Creek Trailers campground next year!
