From March 22 to 26, 2023, you can stay at the stunning Twin Lakes Camp Resort located at 580 Holley King Rd., DeFuniak Springs, Florida. The prices can vary depending on the site, but for us, it was $63, not including tax and without the Good Sam Discount. The campsite is impressive, and our spot (H 11) was on the waterfront. It offered both pull-in and back-in options, with utilities available on either side. Choosing the pull-in option provided a larger patio area and more distance from the neighboring site, although the living area was facing west. There were additional waterfront back-in sites and pull-through sites in the middle of the campground. The campsite featured a stamped concrete pad and gravel for the interior roads and spaces between sites. The pool was inviting, the entire place was tidy and well-maintained, and there were green spaces for children to enjoy. Additional amenities included an activity center and a communal fire pit. For those interested, electric pontoon boats and kayaks were available for rental. There was also a camp store and boutique selling local preserves, souvenirs, RV and fishing equipment. However, there were a couple of drawbacks, such as the lack of picnic tables and a high sewer connection. DeFuniak Springs is steeped in history, and a drive around the circle offers views of beautifully restored vintage houses and a charming park surrounding the lake.

Campground is a good location on a strip between the lakes. We told them our fifth wheel was just under 40 foot, no problem it will fit. A second call of concern after looking at Google maps, no problem. Upon arrival my rig was 2 inches from their fence at the back and my truck had to be sideways in front almost against the hitch to be off the road. Site was so small and narrow we couldn't put out chairs to look at the lake, no place for a grill (really no room). The person in a Class A beside us had a difficult time getting in his site because of transformers, walls and short posts. That said, there are larger sites, some pull thru but all pretty fairly tight all in a great location between the lakes. Everything else was nice office/store, laundry room, people working there, etc. Carefully select your site with Google if you have a larger rig. If you have a unit 30 foot or less you'll have nothing to worry about anywhere here.

Beautiful. The campground is gorgeous! Did I mention what a beautiful setting this campground is?? The sites are decent size and every site has an amazing view of one of the two lakes. Lake Holley side gets a beautiful sunrise, Lake King enjoys a beautiful sunset. Everything at this facility is well maintained. The entire campground is clean. There are incredible showers/bathrooms for those that want or need them. Each is rather large and private, I have never seen bathrooms like this at a campground! Laundry facility was clean and connected to the activity center so you have a nice place to relax while laundry is running. There is so much attention to detail here, even the community fire is constantly maintained for any guests that want to enjoy, day or night. I love that there are some grassy areas designated for kids and no pets, but there are still plenty of places to walk your furry friends. The only thing I would have liked was a fenced area to let dogs off leash to play. This location is about 30-40 minutes away from everything - which is not a negative, just something to be aware of. I definitely recommend this campground if you are looking for a serene setting to relax and unwind.

A campground that actually is deserving of the name "resort." We only came for one night on our way to the Airstream dealership and since the campground was close and previous reviews were good we figured we'd take a chance. Well, they deserve all the accolades. Extremely clean, lovely sites on the water, full hook-ups, firepit and accessories at each site, tons of games to borrow - corn hole, ladder golf, badminton, soccer and more. The attention to detail is really impressive. Sure, the sites are closer together than a state park but this is a great place for a stopover or friend/family meet up. Their glamping tents and cabins looked super cool as well. Check in was easy, staff were very friendly. The lake was lovely and if we had more time we would have taken our kayak out for a spin. Very peaceful and quiet. Cable connection but we didn't use it. The bathrooms were some of the nicest we've seen anywhere. Highly recommend this place if you are traveling through the area.

Camper's delight. Glamping, RV, tiny house camping on a peninsula surrounded by two lakes. Plenty of fishing, and a boat ramp for each lake. Great cell signal for remote work. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff keep the ground immaculate. You won't be disappointed.

Twin Lakes Camp Resort is a well maintained and beautiful rv resort. Located on a fishing lake the resort has full hookup sites with beautiful views. They also have glamping tents, cabins and tiny houses. The pool is heated and fun for kids. You can also rent kayaks and small fishing boats. There is a cute camp store with fun camping inspired niknaks. Next to the store they maintain a group fire pit which I loved. They love pets and it shows with multiple spots for dogs to do their business with handy places to dispose of waste. They have back in and pull through sites and all sites had the hookup on both sides. I absolutely loved my stay!
