The Neck Campground

Australia

Set amongst coastal bush, a short walk to the beach on Bruny Island.
The campground is located on the narrow isthmus between South and South Bruny Island. The sites are level and picnic facilities are available. Located on the edge of the Neck Game Reserve, and on the rugged shoreline attracting many sea birds, this campground is perfect for those wanting to explore the natural environment. There are boardwalks that allow you to see the resident Fairy Penguins in the evenings when they return to their nests. This campground is actually just outside the South Bruny Island National Park, so no entry fees apply, however if you are here, no doubt you would be visiting the park anyway... There is a small water tank, however I would not rely on it. Make sure you bring your own drinking water, and if you do use the tank water, treat it before using.
This campsite is in South Bruny Island National Park Popular spot in Tasmania for bushwalking and camping. More Information...<
