The proprietors have invested their passion and energy into this fantastic recreational vehicle campsite. It's tidy, orderly, and equipped with all you could possibly need. John is an exceptional manager and we will surely return!

Clean, well-designed and well-maintained campground. Spacious sites and nice picnic tables. Calm, restful environment. They are upfront about laundry/showers being closed due to COVID-19, yet that for me keeps them from rating a “5.” For sure, though, I plan to return. It feels like you’re way out in the country yet it’s an easy drive in to Taos. Also close to the stunning Rio Grande Gorge Bridge where folks are selling good quality wares in the Rest Area. And a good base to see Wild Rivers Rec Area within the amazing Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument.

We had a nice 2 night stay. Campsite was clean and spacious- all sites are pull through w/50 amps. Campground is close to Taos as well as the amazing Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Overall great place and staff was friendly with suggestions on local sites to see. Only complaint is that they are COVID averse so office, store and all restroom/shower/laundry facilities were closed. In fairness to management they told us ahead of time their facilities would probably not be open. However that is still the difference between a 4 and 5 rating in our view.

Had an amazing time. Close to everything but far enough away to keep it peaceful. Minutes from the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. At the base of the drive to Taos Ski Valley and the Williams Lake Trailhead and 30 minutes to Cerro for the BLM wildness. Can’t wait to get back.

Great park! Spacious sites, well-maintained and super clean. The owner host is very helpful upon arrival and shares lots of great information about town. The starry nights and sunrise and sunsets are awesome! Great views in all directions. There’s also an excellent dog walk off into the Taos desert next to the campground. Enjoy!

Super friendly owner and host! Gave us lots of great info upon arrival. The park is maintained very well, very spacious sites, with great views in all directions. The starry sky at night And beautiful sunsets and sunrises top off the experience. Can’t wait to stay here again and one of our favorite places, Taos.

We loved our stay here. The host was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. We stayed at a 30amp FHU site and everything was great. There are also W/E sites and a few covered tent sites. The campground is very clean and well kept. It's relatively small overall, but the sites have at lease a little bit of space between them.. There is a great walking trail adjacent to the park where you can let your dog off leash. There is a great little gazebo with comfy seating and multiple different types of grills for you to use. Great access to downtown Taos and the Rio Grand Gorge. Lots of great hiking nearby, just get out early before the summertime afternoon thunderstorms come in. We did one of the toughest hikes we've ever done at Wheeler Peak and we had to bail within site of the peak because it started to lightning and thunder. Funny thing is it never really rained at the campground other than a few sprinkles, but we could see AND hear the thunderstorms in and around the mountains every afternoon. Speaking of mountains, the views in this park are beautiful. The only complaint we had is that the laundry room was closed, supposedly due to Covid. That was a little annoying at this stage (July 2021) There was a little bit of road noise from 64, but it did not bother us at night.

I cannot say enough great things about this RV park.. First, all the sites are wide, level, pull-thru sites.. Second, it’s very safe and secure.. Third, and most importantly, it’s owned and operated by a true Patriot, John, who after serving our country in the military his whole working life, decided to open this RV park so “his wife and he could help his grandkids financially and leave a legacy”..It’s rare to meet people like that! Downtown Taos was very charming and the road up to the ski lodges was breathtaking!!

This is beyond El Prado, some distance from center of Taos, but it's clean and very well managed. You have to check in before 5 pm, which can be inconvenient (and hot in summer). Showers were still closed in late June for COVID safety (?), which is an amenity we rely on, but we knew in advance. But site was clean, decent, we had no immediate neighbors, the WIFI was fast enough too stream and we had plenty of OATV channels. No complaints except we needed a shower after two nights!

This is a very nice privately owned campground. The grounds are very well kept up, and the manager is very pleasant and helpful. He gave us a nice orientation of Taos when we checked in. They do want you to check by 5pm. We had site 1, which is the closest to the highway --- I'd request one furthest away from the highway. The views of the surrounding mountains are fantastic, and if you're further from the road, you'll have a better view of them as well. We're here on Memorial Day Weekend, and there is a Biker Rally at Red River, the 38th annual event. As a result Taos was also busy with noisy Harleys and they were constantly driving by the Campground on the Highway. I'm a rider, but I'd rather not have them constantly driving by my camper going 80. As in all privately owned camps, there is minimal space and privacy between rigs. The shop and bath houses are still closed due to COVID. (I sure that will change soon) Wifi in the camp works very well for browsing, and light streaming. I would highly recommend this campground for those visiting Taos, just don't come on Memorial Day weekend.

We arrived with no reservations and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. There is 30 & 50 amp, water, and sewer connections. Even though it’s close to the road there was very little road noise. The campground is clean and very well laid out perfect location beautiful view of the mountains couldn’t of asked for a better spot. It’s just a 5-10 minute drive to town.

This place is a gem. John (the owner) is lovely and so helpful. The campground was so clean and peaceful. You are super close to tao’s but aren’t right in the middle of the city. Waking up to beautiful snow capped mountains and endless blue sky. There are great walking trails just out of the park and it’s small so it’s quiet. There is a sweet little covered community area with a grill and tables. Everyone we have met and spoken to here has been just lovely. The grounds are well maintained and lovely. Can’t recommend enough.
