According to the SpanishFork Recreation Dept. folks, the Spanish Oaks Campground is only intended for tent camping. There are several 'make shift' spots outside the campground that people use...but I don't know what happens if you are found there. They want RV folks to use the Canyon View Campground (aka: asphalt parking lot with services) that is 3-4 miles away. This info is as of 8/15/2022.

Joyful Camping

Quick note; there are TWO separate areas with different $$ for each area at this campground. Yes there is a steep hill to the area but most rigs should be able to get here without an issue. RV/TT/etc area ($25/night): We had just about the whole campground to ourselves in late May. Yes it is basically a large parking area with hookups (water/30A/20A) but all the stuff to around the area make up for it. Plenty of trails for hiking and mountain biking. There are even dedicated downhill biking paths with curves and jumps. With the reservoir right next door, camping here is perfect for going back for a nap or hanging out. Right next to this area is the Spanish Fork Gun Club where they do a lot fo clay pigeon practice. The noise really isn't noticeable being that the camping is a little ways off from the range. I like the campground and would come back again! Tent Only area ($10/night): This whole loop is paved and every site has a cement fire ring. It is situated right at the base of the trail system so it's perfect for bringing your bike and riding all day long. Here is my video of the campground showing each of the areas, activities, speed test, etc. https://youtu.be/r0BdBavM4Zk
