Our experience at this location during the Independence Day holiday was enjoyable. Despite the high number of families and the flurry of activities, it remained serene. Our allocated area had lush, green grass and a shady tree. The utilities were functional and easily accessible. Our spot had satellite connectivity even amidst the trees. The laundry facility was adequate, albeit a bit outdated, and lacked a change machine. The staff was amiable and ready to assist. The trash bin lids were extremely heavy and difficult to lift without risking injury. The environment was calm and dimly lit at night. A short distance away was Sue Meg State Park for beach access, though the park itself did not offer any sea views. RVs were not permitted 2 miles south of the park; the recommended route was via Patricks Point Road to and from Highway 101. We generally favor parks without fire pits as many visitors struggle to maintain them without smoke affecting other campers, however, this was not a major issue at this location.

We stayed end of March, this areas big season is during summer so the park was mostly empty. Very close to state park with tide pools, otherwise need to drive to get to anything else. There are LOTS of RV parks in this area. Pull thru spots were a little thin but very long. Back in spots very good size

Ended up in this area on a weekend and got nervous about availability---settled on this only b'c they had online reservations, but boy were the choices confusing.Took at 25' wide back-in spot on the middle tier, and though they were tight, it worked out ok. We were the only van they'd ever seen, according to a neighbor. Nice space around us til a new arrival on Sat, a smoker who liked to sit outside. The grounds are nice with a sort of "faded glory" vibe. Never saw a manager at all and office kept locked due to COVID. Picked a quart of fresh blackberries on the bushes steps from our van! The top tier sites with sea view had little decks with tables and chairs, though are up a steep hill. Bathhouse remains closed for COVID, which seems unnecessary at this point. with proper cleaning. The free WIFI was pretty good and two bars Verizon consistently. Checked out the old coast road into Trinidad, despite warnings. Pretty bumpy old pavement, and hairy at a one-lane washout spot, but otherwise a pretty drive and do-able in 22' van.

Overall it was a good experience. Very nice reception even though we came in at 7:00 pm without a reservation, they helped us get all set up. Cell service is very limited, the internet is a bit slow, but it works well.

At first, this park is not what you would expect. For me, I was thinking it was bigger and more spaces. We picked a spot up on the hill and it was perfect. I loved that the site was out of the way from the rest of the park. The restrooms and showers were closed. So, I can't comment on those. Overall, this park is really nice and quiet. Everyone was very friendly. We enjoyed are walks around and you can hear the seals barking as the ocean is right across the street. Ideally, next time I would choose S5 as my spot as it is higher on the hill and is a really large site. If you need a buddy site I would choose S3 and S2.

Narrow spaces, no privacy, site is has generators running all night. I guess they have folks staying here where there is no service. No wifi, cable boxes not working, filthy restrooms. Owners are not seen, afraid of Covid, my guess is not to deal with angry customers. All transactions are done through phone and left in the porch. Old rv park, has seen better days! Save yourself some griff and go elsewhere.

i would absolutely stay here again: walking distance to Patrick’s Point, one of the most beautiful corners of the planet. The park was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed the community fire ring plus full hookups. The spaces are tight, but it seemed to work out just fine for everyone. Wifi was typically slow.
