Not the smoothest check-in for us; partly our fault. Made the reservation the morning of, didn’t realize arriving after 6pm meant no one around to meet us. We called a few times and eventually someone answered and did give instructions on where to set up. We were tent camping and did get confused on where to go; set up in the wrong area, it was right by the water and appeared tent friendly. We paid the next morning but a short while later an RV showed up stating we were in their spot so we immediately packed up. The office indicated where we should have been located, in the AA spots which are Not particularly tent friendly and not well marked. At any rate, it took three visits to the office to get checked in properly which was kind of a bummer. Yes it was partly our fault, just want to inform other campers of our experience here.
