The rental cost per night is calculated based on our half-year summer leasing rate; it would be higher on a daily basis. We spent a delightful summer on the coast of Maine. Our spot was reasonably flat and came with a complete hook-up. We managed to get satellite for our Dish. Cable was available for a portion of the season before being cut off to boost the internet, which unfortunately didn't improve. We were fortunate to have a wooden platform at our entrance. After a large 42-foot rig parked in front of us, we lost our water view. That was our only disadvantage. On Friday evenings, communal dinners were held for those who wished to join. A fun game of Left, Right, Center followed the meal. The proprietors, Basil and Sue, were fantastic and always on hand when required. The locals and summer visitors are amiable and hospitable. Many people at Seaview return each year for the summer and have their own spots. We had a great time exploring the area and strolling along the beach during the extreme low tide. Eastport is a charming little town in Maine that hosts festivals throughout the summer.

The only other campground that could match the beauty of this heavenly place that we have visited was in The Keys. So for Northeast this is it! Simply gorgeous views. Highly recommend!!!

We had the most amazing campsite in the entire campground as the normal seasonal campers were unable to make it in 2021. Sad for them but extremely lucky for us. We had water on both sides of our camper, a deck to sit out on, and the most incredible views. There is a lot to explore in the area as well. Make sure you take a drive around to all the nearby state parks and towns. The campground owners are great people. Very friendly and helpful. I kayaked on the river, but be aware there is the "largest whirlpool in the western hemisphere" right in front of the campground! So stick to the coast and be aware of the tides (the change is dramatic!!) We will come back whenever we can camp in our favorite site again. I don't think we would fit in to most of the other sites down by the water (and they didn't have the views we were exposed to in our site). There are sites up on the hill overlooking the campground and down to the river that also have a nice view, but most are seasonal I think. Overall, this was an amazing experience for us! And we loved it...

What a great spot, the views are stunning from every site. Nice quiet place sloping down to the water. Clean and tidy, no clutter lying around. Seasonal campsites neat too.

We could only get a 3 night stay because this place books up a year in advance. The campground is just outside of Eastport, ME, the easternmost city in the US. The park has a wide shoreline where you look right out at Canada. They have only a few right on the water spots but the campground slopes up to most everyone has a beautiful view. We were lucky to have one to the best sites, 10A. 10A & 10B are close to each other but the angle gives you privacy. 10B has a really nice deck. The morning sunrise this time of year. Sept 1st was magical. There are Whales visible sometimes as well. We booked for a week next year for the second weekend in September when the Pirate Festival is happening in Eastport. Eastport is a great village to visit. Book the Windjammer whale watching cruise. Tons of fun.
