As a local resident, I initially visited just to empty my tanks but was unexpectedly delighted to discover an unknown corner of our region! It's a paradise for those who love river floating, canoeing, fishing, and the like. Don't forget your insect repellent, or you can purchase it from the well-stocked camp store. The campground has been established for a long time, but it came under new management in 2022, who are enthusiastic about ensuring their campers are satisfied. It's the type of place I'd be happy to stay while on an adventure. Despite other facilities being closer, I will certainly return due to my positive experience with the owners. I seldom pen reviews. The approach road is steep, but manageable. They accommodate large fifth wheels and frequently organize canoeing excursions during the summer, complete with a large school bus.
