Hi and welcome to the Ridge Ranch Campground website. We are Jack and Cheryl Morris, owner/operators of Ridge Ranch Campground, and the sweeties in our arms are Tater and Angel. We invite you to come out and share your camping experience with us. The 76-acre campground has shaded and sunny areas, a beautiful 16+ acre lake with a sandy beach and large swimming deck. Ridge Ranch is a fun, family oriented campground. We have many planned activities such as DJ’s, Karaoke, and Elvis impersonators, Auctions, Bingo, crafts, hayrides and more. We also offer paddleboat and canoe rentals, pavilion rentals, mini golf, fishing, playgrounds, horseshoes, volleyball, and basketball. We also have a game room with pool tables and video games. The store/office offers things such as propane, firewood, ice, milk, bread, eggs, and other such food items. In addition, the store offers paper goods, charcoal and lighter fluid, RV supplies, soda, ice cream, candy, and many other items you may find useful or may have forgotten. Not much interested in the tent scene? Try renting our cabin for your camping get away. It has a covered front porch, a full size bed, bunk beds, and a small refrigerator and microwave. It is tucked away right at the edge of the woods near the lake. Are day trips or other nearby attractions more your style? There are over 30 golf courses in the surrounding area, Canoe Outfitters, an Amish Cheese Factory, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Packard Music Hall, hiking at Nelson Ledges State Park and Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom amusement park is less than 40 miles away!

We stayed 7 nights, the park was ok. Lots of summer camps, with trailers that have been there a while. Lots of people wearing clothing with flags, overly patriotic if you get my drift. The "lake" in not swimmable, unless you are a frog. The water is undrinkable, as it has a lot of iron in it. Turned our sinks and toilets orange. If you are ok with all that, it's ok, but we won't be back.

We stopped here for a week on our way to the UP. This was a nice campground on a lake, in the middle of nowhere. The staff was very helpful and nice. We work full time so internet was critical for us. We work off of AT&T hotspots, and the service here was very fast. Average speed test was 100mb+ download and 10mb+ upload. We had no service issues at all. Lots of full timers here, all of which were friendly. There is an area on the lake that dogs are encouraged to go in, but no fenced in area. The dog area is adjacent to the front gate, so less than ideal with cars coming and going. A fenced in dog area would have been nice, but overall a really nice spot.
