We were there in July mid week and the garbage needed tending to, the bathrooms weren’t very clean. The site was beautiful (except for the smell of a rotting animal from somewhere) and the location perfect within a short distance from the “Trail of Giants” (about 14 miles away). Cell service is non-existent and WiFi is only near the office. They don’t hide any of this and are sure to let you know. You’re in the middle of nowhere, I’m not certain why you might expect more.

We booked here to be close to Sequoia NP, But ultimately didn’t stay, because there is zero cell and no wifi available, and we need it for school and work. The owner couldn’t be nicer, and refunded our deposit. The spots down by the river are very pretty, and would be a nice place to stay. I wanted to review it because it is quite a twisty road to there and then no service to get out. Also, the park seems to be home to many permanent trailers.

This was our first camping trip with our travel trailer and what a place to bring it. The first placed I booked abruptly cancelled so I quickly found this gem. I called and the really nice owner penciled me in. We were by a river which made our camping experience even better. I can’t wait to go back!
