W/E/S-Paved spot but kinda a tricky grade to level your camper on. Very friendly office staff. The campground was very quiet with a little road noise from passing cars, but it didn't bother us and we slept with the windows open. There was a bathhouse, but we didn't check it out. Convenient places to grab a quick bite to eat and gas. Each row of campers was separated by woods in front and behind us. The campsites were pretty close together left to right, but we had an open site next to us that made for a spacious evening.

The RV campground is close to the main entrance of the forest, also a great spot for checking out DC and surrounding battlefields. The park is on NPS grounds and was built in the 70s. Being on federal property limits the upgrades that needs doing. The WiFi is useless and the spots are super small and tight. I highly recommend paying the $10 site lock for any rigs over 40ft. Get the back in spots on the F row, more privacy and shade. The staff is quite nice and the bathrooms are always clean.

This is a small but great RV park for traveling to the DC area. Convenient to 95 for travel downtown to DC or to local attractions like the Marine Corps Museum. Very quiet at night and the absolute cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen at an RV park (you rock Bill - Semper Fi)
