The locations are closely clustered and loud. We reserved an upscale waterside spot but our vista was completely blocked.

This RV park, featuring a boat launch, swimming areas, and welcoming personnel, is a top-notch choice. There's also the alternative of staying at their newly expanded RV section across the road for a more affordable rate.

Right on the water or across the street in the quiet woods, you can't go wrong. It's worth the extra money to stay right on the water or marina. Beautiful new pool and clubhouse - amazing sunsets from the deck, comfortable seating inside and on the deck, tv, puzzles, even a treadmill and stationary bike. Wifi that works!! Good cell signals too. 10min to town which has lots of food options and some shopping. 10min south to the beach or 30min around to the state park on the peninsula.

Arrival and check in was good and maneuvering around the park was easy, as well as getting in and out of the spots. All sites had full hookups. It's just on the outskirts of Port St. Joe, which is a great small Florida town, and not far from the more artsy Apalachicola area. We stayed in the new section for the initial 8 days we were there, and then we extended our trip and stayed on the water side for an extra 4 days. As good as the view was on the water side of the campground, we enjoyed our time on the other side of the park. Reason being, other campers on that side were more friendly. Granted, this will change day by day depending on who is parked near you, but we both noticed the difference pretty quickly, and it didn't change.

Arrival: We are in a 43ft bus with Jeep in tow. We came in from the north on 30a. The right turn into the campground is about 180 degrees and drops about 3 1/2 feet in about 20 feet. That caused us to drag and we had to unhook the toad to make the turn. If you are coming from the south, it should be no problem. We had friends coming in later, also from the north, and we advised them to go left in the circle to avoid the 180 degree turn and dragging the bus. That worked fine. Staff was super friendly upon check in. Everything is recently rebuilt and nice because of the hurricane a few years back. Laundry, workout room, and meeting rooms are upstairs in the clubhouse. They have an elevator but it is locked and for handicap use only. It would have been handy for carrying the loads of laundry up to the laundry facilities. They have 2 washers and 2 dryers. The office staff will sell you quarters for the machines. Our site was plenty long for our 43ft bus and Jeep. The pad is gravel and level. The site is well cut grass but because we had a lot of rain during our visit, a lot of the site retained about an inch or better of water. They also have a heated pool next to the clubhouse. They have 2 campground community fire pits along the bay. They allow gas and wood fires at the campsite as long as they are elevated with some sort of legs to prevent burning the grass. They also have a beach volleyball set up in their recreation area next to the bay. They have 70 sites on the bay side of the campground and about 40 sites across the street in the new section they are developing. Very dog friendly and we met a lot of people and their dogs on walks around the park. They have an on site boat ramp for guests and several of fellow campers seemed to enjoy fishing from the shore. The clubhouse has a large deck with tables and chairs on the second level and we enjoyed the view and drinks from there. The campground WiFi was weak but the cell signal was sufficient to use our jetpack to get good WiFi. Overall, we like the campground, the staff were very friendly, and the campers we met there were also very outgoing and friendly, which is not always the case at some campgrounds these days. We will be back.

We arrived a day early and there was no issue with getting a site for one night, which was a bit of a relief! The girls in the office were very friendly at check-in, and they accepted Amazon packages; so that is always a bonus. Losing one star for Cleanliness as there was an old tire and some building bricks in the water just behind where we backed in our RV. Water pressure was low, so we just filled our tank and used the RV water pump. As with most campgrounds the free WiFi sucked. We opted for the $20 weekly package and after spending 30 minutes on the phone with their tech provider, all was good with the internet and streaming. We are RV'ing, but we're not animals! lol. Excellent location to the town of St. Joe as well as surrounding Cape San Blas and St. George's Island.

Loved this campground!! We were water front and backed up to the marina access. From inside our rig, looked like we were literally in a boat! Water views out every window. Very clean place. Nice (small) laundry facilities. Nice shower house and pool. Small workout room as well. Kayak rental. Propane fill station. Small gift shop in office. FHU, level sites. Very close to town with lots of dining options and shopping.
