8801 St. Thomas Drive
99301, Pasco
Washington, the United States

Welcome to the Tri-Cities-Kennewick, Pasco and Richland, a high desert region, where nearly 300 sun-filled days offer visitors a year-round paradise. The average annual rainfall is less than seven inches and winter temperatures hover at the 44 degree mark. Snowfall is uncommon and Summer temps average a pleasant 88 degrees, with river breezes contributing to cool evenings and balmy days. The confluence of the Snake, Yakima and Columbia Rivers has produced an aquatic playground second to none. Recreation and sports enthusiasts love the Tri-Cities and the area offers something for everyone, due in part to the exceptional climate. Golf is one of the most popular sports, with ten beautiful courses challenging the most experienced golfer as well as the beginner. Our Resort offers a full range of enjoyment for the whole family and facilities for group gatherings. The inner roads are beautifully surfaced. The sites, particularly those for temporary campers, are gravelled and flat. When the sites are full, they can feel somewhat cramped, and this is particularly true in the area designated for long-term residents. The park's indoor pool and spa are quite small considering the park's overall size. However, there's a pleasant game room, well-kept dog areas, a well-maintained playground and a modestly sized camp store. The park is subject to continuous noise from the nearby highway, but this isn't a problem for those accustomed to the sounds of traffic and trains.

KOA Pasco/Tri Cities Pasco, WA #221, New section Gravel, easily leveled, pull Through Grass area between sites with picnic table. Plenty long enough, did not have to disconnect WIFI.... there but not very strong V 4g/3b, ATT 4g/2b ( no booster) 2nt stop to visit a friend in Walla Walla, which was busy with their Fall Fair and had no RV spots open. Escorted to our sight. Nick was very helpful with local info on where to find what. There is some road noise. We didn't hear it in our rig with the AC on, but you will hear it if outside. Nice pool area, playground for the kids. Laundry is a little small for a park this size, but it wasn't busy and we didn't have to wait. Did not use the new bathrooms. Access from the highway was good, and new section roads are easily navigable in a larger rig. They do water at night, so don't leave anything out that can't get wet. We would stay here again when in the area.

THE GOOD Friendly staff. Management is welcoming and accommodating. Location: It is right off of the highway but is relatively quiet. Close to groceries, gas, and restaurants. Office: Normal KOA store inside with decent assortment of what you might need, and some extras. Sites: Well-maintained pull-through gravel sites with grass living areas. The older section of the park has larger trees for shade, while the newer side does not have mature trees sufficient enough for any shade at all. The newer side is a bit nicer though. So, choose based on availability and preference. Cell service: Good for Verizon and AT&T Facilities: Clean showers. Not private, but works well enough.

Never bothers us, but I am aware that folks can be bothered by road noise. So, don't complain if you know going into it. :) WORTH NOTING (not good or bad thing) Very suburban vibe: Lots and lots of long-term residents (many months/year+). It just tends to have a particular vibe when that happens at some campgrounds.

We only stayed here one night because we were visiting family in the area. The staff at the front was very friendly. They had propane for sale on site. They led us to our site which was a large pull-through site. It was great because we flat tow our Jeep. We wouldn't have had to unhook if we didn't want to. Would definitely stay here again. Good cell service with AT&T and Verizon.
