We booked a spot at this campsite over the phone for a late autumn getaway. The staff at the office were pleasant and accommodating. Our stay was at the Black Forest area, which had ample space between spots, a flat terrain, and well-maintained amenities. Wi-Fi and mobile signal were reliable. As it was the final week of October, the place was tranquil, save for the occasional sound of the Downeaster Amtrak train horn. The site included a fire pit and table, and was welcoming to electric bikes. Although we didn't use the bathrooms, they appeared sanitary and functional. As it was late October, it was unsurprising that the pool and hot tub were closed. Snow is not a rare sight during this period. We cycled around the entire campsite and found it to be well-kept and spotless. We'll definitely revisit and bring friends along for another peaceful autumn excursion.

We stayed in site 102 in the grove section. There are two sites here beside each other. We had the woods on one side and the back. The WiFi extender was beside our site so was able to stream at 5 mgbs which was plenty to watch what we wanted. Did not even try cable. Hook ups perfect location. Staff friendly. They gave us directions to a short cut through the property to get on the Eastern Trail, a 30 mile greenway. We rode in to Portland on our bikes. The marsh part of the ride was unique and filled with bird watchers. Also gave us a good recommendation for local seafood “Ken’s”. Was about 1/2 price to others and really good clams and lobster. The resort is huge and does have permanent trailers but all were nice and well kept. Easy to book online.
