Very clean campground with clean showers and bathrooms. Nice little store with camping supplies and propane. Heated pool in summer and mini golf. Play area for kids and breakfast on weekends which we didn’t get to try. A little traffic noise but not bad. Wifi was good and 2 laundry rooms with a lounge above it with a pool table tv and sitting area inside and a nice porch with a great view of the mountains.

We stayed for a few nights because we needed internet and full hook ups. It was a nice place to stay. Our ATT was useless. Verizon was around 8-10 down, maybe about 2 up. Loved that they have recycling available. The area we parked in had some nice trees around it which helped with privacy. And we got a military discount, which was nice.

I have stayed here last year for a week and again this week. I really enjoy this campground and the Durango area. One of things I like most is the lack of street lights all over the campground. I've stayed at many KOAs and other campgrounds that think camping includes being under a street light, which really bothers me because I enjoy the night sky. Well, here you get to see the night sky! There are a couple downsides, but not enough to downgrade my rating. The highway is right by the campground, so there is noise. But most sites are far enough away that it doesn't bother me. And the sites that are by the road have a nice view, so I probably wouldn't complain there either. The other downside is the cell phone signal, at least at site 209. I am getting 1 bar of verizon and 1-2 bars of ATT. But their wifi works great. I have cut out a few times on Zoom calls, but it doesn't last long and hasn't been an issue. Site 209 is at the very end down the hillside, so I can see why it would be mildly flaky at times. The other minor downside is pulling out of the park. You make a left to go toward downtown Durango and it can be real busy depending on the time of day. Nothing too bad, but sometimes can be annoying. My site is pretty level, but I've seen others that look a bit hilly. Nothing terrible here either, just something to keep in mind that some sites might need more leveling than others. Overall, it's a great campground and I love staying here!

Pretty RV park with a pleasant wandering layout. The downside to that layout is that people walk through occupied campsites when headed to bathrooms etc. That was a big problem for me. The campsite is on a busy highway so there is a lot of noise on the adjacent sites. Interior is noticeably quieter. Many sites have trees as did mine. It's a 10 minute ride to Durango which is why I picked this location. My site did not have a sewer hook up but the dump station worked fine. I was there during a holiday weekend and it was very busy with kids and family activity. The campground hosts some activities. The front laundry room become unavailable after a busy weekend as they wash linens from the cabins. There was a second laundry room a short walk away which worked fine. In July I did notice mosquitoes at night.

Great for the whole family. You can get a pizza, play mini golf, pickle ball, or watch an evening movie. The camp store has great prices for propane, sweatshirts, t shirts, trailer supplies. The prices are not the usual tourist "gouge them prices." Quite reasonable. There is a Sprint/T Mobile mini cell tower on the premises. Great T-Mobile coverage. This is a little highway noise from Hwy 160 below.

Facilities are awesome: WIFI worked great, showers were clean, Dish washing area available, activities in abundance for kids, shop was stocked with whatever you might need. We even liked the Pizza we ordered from their cook. The people were super friendly and super helpful. However, it was jam packed. We came in on a Holiday weekend so we expected higher rates, but I'm glad we were pulling a 15 footer and not anything bigger. The spots themselves are really narrow and tight. We were in between National Park Boondocking trips, so this may have compounded on the sensory overload of people and activities. And it was hot...very hot.. that day.
