Arrival - The process of arriving is simplified with online booking and check-in. The registration area, which also doubles as a store, is well-designed and features a long lane for RVs. Recommendations - It's advised to apply your military or Good Sam discount before making a full payment, otherwise, you'll miss out on it. It's also important to do a thorough research of your site. The row from site 116 to 145A is designed with left-side utilities pull-through sites, but there's a walking path in front that's not meant for driving. This means you'll have to drive on the grass to position your vehicle on the site, a setup that seems odd. Site 145, advertised as a "Super" site, was too small for our 4-slide 45' fifth wheel without intruding on the permanent resident at 145A. However, site 144 was easily accessible. Highlights - The park's vegetation, featuring papaya, mango, oak, bamboo and iris, is a sight to behold. The walking path around the park is excellent, as are the amenities. The park's proximity to the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks makes visiting them convenient. The area is also rich in Fruteria, Cuban cuisine, and plant nurseries. Site 144 offers a clear view of the LEO satellite for Starlink. Drawbacks - The online check-in system doesn't let you apply discounts if you pay in full, and the staff on-site are not very helpful when this issue is raised. The sites are too cramped, which seems to be a common issue with Thousand Trails. The layout of the sites, as mentioned earlier, is confusing and can cause stress. The roads leading to the sites are narrow. Some permanent residents or lot owners of Thousand Trails don't maintain their sites well, which can leave a bad first impression. This issue needs better management. The park seems to lack WiFi, and the cable service is poor.

Throughout our travels across America, we've visited countless RV parks and campsites. However, none have displayed the level of hostility and discourteousness we experienced at this particular location. Initially, we inquired about a Good Sam Discount, only to be curtly told that if we didn't request it at the time of booking, we couldn't avail of it. Following this, we received our paperwork without any further communication and proceeded to our allocated spot. To our surprise, we were escorted to our location and instructed on parking our RV, as if we hadn't done it countless times before. The situation worsened when we found ourselves parked beside another RV, with their sewage outlet inconveniently located right outside our door. Furthermore, the site's electrical supply was unstable, causing us concern for our refrigerator and air conditioning unit. We attempted to relocate, but the office was closed. Despite leaving urgent messages on the provided contact numbers, we received no response. The following morning, we approached the office as soon as it opened, requesting a move to any available site, even without sewage facilities. Our request was met with hostility, despite our polite demeanor. We were then informed that maintenance would inspect the issue. The maintenance staff member was the only person who displayed any friendliness during our stay. She identified a faulty breaker, which would take a day to replace, and suggested we move. However, the office then attempted to charge us extra for moving to a site without sewage facilities. Ultimately, with the assistance of the maintenance staff, we were not charged extra, but we also didn't receive any discount for the inconvenience caused. It's astonishing how poorly this establishment treated its customers. We will not be returning. We're grateful we didn't sign up for Thousand Trails. If this is a reflection of their customer service, we're glad we avoided them.

Secured a spot with a 50 AMP full hook-up, drive-through capability. The space is located on a grassy area and comes with a picnic table. Although the spots are quite close to each other, it was manageable. The employees are extremely amiable. The swimming pool region is quite appealing. I would definitely consider revisiting.

Stayed here Nov of 2021. Catching up on reviews. Site type: Pull-through, FHU, 50 AMP. THE GOOD Office/Store: Office staff is really nice. Good assortment of items in the store for camping and grocery section. Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants nearby. In the middle of lots of farms, so no shortage of produce. This park is also really close to Everglades National Park, which is nice. There really is not much other option for RV parks other than this one, really. Maintenance: Clean and maintained well enough. Facilities: The laundry was well-maintained and worked as expected. COULD BE BETTER: Sites: All grass. Not really level. Sites: I would not suggest getting a site near the office, because there is always a strong sewer odor in that area of the park. Buggy: Get your bug spray ready if you want to sit outside at night. Wifi: Nope. Cell: Connectivity is not great here. But, good enough for calls and light work on hotspots.

Miami Everglades RV Resort truly is a great snowbird destination. In this video, we provide a walking tour of Miami Everglades RV Resort and provide insight as to why this RV resort is a premier snowbird destination. While not an age qualified RV resort, Miami Everglades RV Resort offers first-class amenities along with awesome weather, especially during the winter months. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 28.3 Mbps download speed and 7.95 Mbps upload speed. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 36.8 Mbps download speed and 6.30 Mbps upload speed. T-Mobile cellular service clocked in at 34.2 Mbps download speed and 13.2 Mbps upload speed.

Good campsite with nice pool, hot tub, mini golf an a lot of other amenities. The only thing which could improve the site would be the opening times of the store, which closes already at 5 p.m.

This was our second time staying here because it’s in such a great location in relation to the Everglades NP! We enjoy staying here a lot, it has some nice amenities (pool, hot tub, dog park, walking trail, bingo, mini golf)! We wish some of the amenities would be open longer like mini golf, pickle ball, etc. Overall it’s a great campground and we will definitely stay here again!

At this time we have been unable to use our water to do dishes for several days. We are under a boil alert. You have to boil to use it even to brush your teeth. The pool is not heated and this was the 15th day out of two months the heater hasn’t worked. The place smells like a sewer backed up and always does. However I had four days we were unable to use the sewer.

There’s not really anywhere else to stay in the area and this place has mixed reviews. But, it was a solid option! Lots of space between neighbors, lots of green space, lots of amenities… a big win all around. Location is a little too far from Miami, but otherwise we would stay again.

Pros -location, close to Miami and the Keys -amenities: great pool and mini golf, nice 1 mile loop walking trail, basketball, shuffle board, pickle ball -Staff very friendly -beautiful laundry facilities Cons -30 amp w/ low voltage -sites too close, not level - sewage line far, needed extension -lots of nicer empty sites not available to us for some reason I would stay again due to the location, but I’d stay one week at most.

This RV campground was amazing. The spaces are close but very well maintained. The staff assists you to your lot and is extremely helpful. The amenities are great (mini golf, pool, playground, basketball, volleyball). They are all clean and well maintained.

This property looks great online. The amenities here are nice and the landscaping is good. This is definitely a good place for big families with lots of children. The descriptions of the types of sites are a bit confusing. We didn’t realize our site didn’t come without sewer or we would not have booked it at this price. We stay many places without sewer but not for this premium price out in the middle of farm land. WiFi is an additional charge and you park on grass. Also the site states “ many come with picnic tables and concrete patios”. Non of the ones in the area we were in had a patio. They give you a five page packet when you check in with a long list of “no no’s”. It’s three times as many rules here as any other place we have stayed. For example you can’t use your fire pits but you can rent one from them. A bit off putting upon first impressions. The trouble with having such a long list of rules is you need to Enforce them. This campground picks and chooses when to enforce them. Noise at all hours, junky long term tenants with stuff all over the sites. But you are warned that everything come with a fine when you arrive. The water was shut off during our stay with no notice and the office could not be bothered when inquiring about duration. This feels like an overreaching HOA with bad management. We were testing this property to see if Thousand trails was an option for us. So far that’s a big no.

Many of the campgrounds in the area are really just RV parking lots. While the spaces are still tight, there are still lots of trees and landscaping to make it feel more like a campground and not just RV parking. Number one complaint is that the neighboring site sewer was right next to our picnic table. Otherwise, it was a great stay and look forward to returning. The $20/night is the up charge for an Encore premium park on the Thousand Trails Trails Collection membership.

First off the staff was friendly to us, and I was happy to rent a laundry card as other parks you have to buy it outright! The park is a little pricey but it’s well maintained and has a great pool, mini golf, and 1 mile walking path. Plus a playground, green space, and games. It is located so you can go into Miami, hit the keys, or go to Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. An airboat tour is highly recommended! Sites are more spacious than some and more cramped than others we have stayed in. Pets are welcome! Family friendly!

This campground was a wonderful resort in which to base our Everglades and Miami leg of the trip. We spent one day in Miami, one day in the Everglades and one day in the upper keys. Neighbors were great, lots of friendly faces. The pool was wonderful! Very much a resort style experience. However, the office staff was super rude and stand-offish. If you want to do laundry, be sure to note that you must “rent” a card for $5 and you may only add money in $5 increments....and you don’t receive back any change if you don’t use it all. Also, you will only receive your $5 card rental fee back via CC, regardless of how you paid for it. So, we not only lost the $1 and some change that was left on the card, but we also won’t receive our $5 back for 7-10 business days via our credit card. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but when you are paying in coveted quarters and you still have laundry to wash further on down the road, it is a big deal. Also, sites are tight with oddly placed hook ups. Overall, I will give this campground four starts ONLY because the place was nicely kept and the pool was epic. And we had great neighbors. (Price reflects Thousand Trails/Encore membership pricing.)
