This is a family campground. There is a playground, beach, boat rentals, etc. With that said, be prepared for TIGHT spots. Not big rig friendly at all. You’ll have neighbors just about within arms reach. They pack them in here. Want a shower? That’ll be an extra 25 cents for 5 minutes (really?). Want wifi? Guess what? That’s an extra charge too. Anything you want is extra on top of what they already charge. For me it was over $40/night for a super cramped space with electric only. Not even a water hookup. Want to use the dump station? It’s in the most inconvenient spot ever. Good luck. Check out? 10AM. No leeway. So get out. This isn’t the worst Campground. But there are so many state forest campgrounds for way less that also offer beaches and boat launches. Plus check out is 3pm at the state campgrounds. 10am checkout is kind of ridiculous. This place is packed in like sardines. If you want to be sitting 10ft from your neighbors but need a playground, this is for you. Otherwise look into the many spacious state park campgrounds in the area for less than half price. No idea why this place is rated so highly. It’s a typical commercial campground that squeezes you for every penny they can with super tight spaces.

This is a nice hidden gem in northern Wisconsin (or at least we hadn’t heard of it before). The new owners seem very nice. All sites have electric and water, and the “upper” sites have sewer as well. We had a beachside site which was excellent. The beach wasn’t too busy so maybe it would be different if it were, but you couldn’t beat the view of Big St. Germain Lake. Dump station is in kind of a funny spot and if your waste valves are too low, it will be near impossible to dump there. Other than that, the rest of the amenities are great. Nice camp store, firewood available, boat slips available and a boat launch. Bath house is clean and nice, just dated, but that’s not a big deal. 5 mins from St. Germain and 15 mins from Eagle River and Minocqua.

Wonderful location. Good utilities, great facilities. Abundant wildlife, the grass volleyball court seems attractive to the deer. For fishing & boating they offer rentals, nice tiny marina, gas for sale if you have your own boat and a boat launch and docks to tie up at. You can rent kayak's, canoes & pedal bikes. Tiny beach & good swimming area. St Germain is not very far for essentials such as groceries and hardware - anything more you'll need to go to Minocqua for Walmart or Tractor Supply. The only negatives are too much sand on the sites - a bit of gravel would be better and of course more grass. The laundry, restrooms & showers could use a make-over, but were clean. Unfortunately we were there when they were invaded by Midges (flying bug - like mosquitos) which made night time camp fires a bit unbearable - nothing the Camp could do.

We only stay one night. The site seemed very large. We only have a class B but there were 5th wheels here with plenty of room also. Very quite with lots of trees! We did not use the bathroom or showers so can’t tell you about those. Pet friendly with deer and squirrels all around us
