Never stayed at a KOA before, little pricy for us. We were meeting friends and they picked it. Friendly helpful staff that met us as we arrived, our site was large and level and the bathrooms were nice. You don't get much privacy. You are away from everything not not too far. Verizon showed 2 bars of 5G but I thought it was a little slow. I gave it 4 stars only because of price. They offer lots of amities but we are out exploring not hanging out at the park.

Most importantly: From the north Arrive off 81 via 64E, 29S and 130W. Maps takes you to Natural Bridge/Glasgow which puts you on a real terror. Narrow, steep, windy mountain road east off 81 toward the campground. From the south, look into Roanoke to Lynchburg (four lane roads) then North on 29 to 130W. Also, off 64E go to the exit past 99 to avoid a very steep downhill. You'll be on country two lanes for a bit but nothing challenging. 29S is a four lane. 130W is a wide two lane. Before or after dark watch for deer from 64E exit all the way to your campsite. This KOA is outstanding! Spotless grounds and bathroom/showers. Wonderful caretakers. Many activities for the kids. Read their notes about wifi. very accurate. Very, very quiet area. Remote.
