Having the choice between this and the city park campgrounds, I chose here. It is very clean, has all the amneties. It is also quiet with typical campground rules. Close to the water. Views not great because of fog. Great cell service and wifi for those working from the road.

The $70 rate is for Alaska residents. Friendly staff, My son used the showers and said they were nice and were clean. I used the shower in my camper. We were in a pull through site which was close to the road, I didn't find the road noise objectionable.

We were in a pull through site which was close to the road, I didn't find the road noise objectionable. Previous review said the WIFI was horrible. The campground must have done some upgrades. I found the WIFI surprisingly good. I received a strong signal and was able to stream videos. I didn't hook up to their cable, but the information sheet said there were only a few channels and they did not guarantee the quality. The only issue I had was that the sewer connection was too far for me to use with my standard hose. I am going to order a sewer hose extension to resolve that problem if it comes up again. Walking around, I noticed that people generally had long hoses or weren't connected.
