We stayed here for 10 days. Nice and quiet (during the week) and far from any conveniences. Luckily the site behind us was empty so we were able to “pull through”our 39’ 5th wheel instead of backing in, which would have been a nightmare. This place is huge, around 130 acres if I recall. Lots of permanent trailers. The pools were very run down, broken concrete everywhere and the patio around the “adult pool” looked rotted out. Decent playground and lots of bikes for the kids to use. Sites were packed in tight, and the ground was soft and lumpy from moles/gophers. The fire pits were simply old tire rims that you could move anywhere. $7 for a bundle of firewood that was probably fresh cut because it smoked for 20 minutes before igniting. On the weekends this place was packed, bean bag tournaments non stop. The local small towns had some activities luckily, or we’d have been bored. The staff was mostly fine, but one or two instances where we seemed like an inconvenience. Definitely could use some customer service training. And get a quarter machine in the laundry room! The odd hours made it difficult to get change. Maybe I’d stay again, but probably not.
