This park is in a great location with awesome bike trails, convenient access to freeways, and many places to eat nearby. We extended our stay due to location of this nice clean resort. Price is also very reasonable.

Making a reservation was extremely difficult. Many times I got no answer. When I did make the reservation I never got an email notification so I had to call back to be sure it was good. Still no notification. I think it would be hard to get a spot so having reservations well ahead is a must. We called again and added a day and that was easy. When we arrived, check in was easy. The sites are level gravel/raked dirt. All sites are back in. The spots are close but I didn’t expect much in the city. The map makes it look close to the ocean but it would be a long walk I think. There is a pool, hot tub, restrooms, showers and laundry that are in good condition. Every site has a very heavy picnic table. The sewer drain was above the road so there was barely enough downhill to drain (I had to assist it). The location is close to everything Long Beach and Disneyland but we drove to Universal Studios as well from here. Their store is very lightly stocked and I found the office closed even during their advertised business hours. The area is very safe. Bus and train lines are within a mile walk (in a safe downtown area). AT&T has 4 bars. There is an AT&T wifi hotspot nearby but it was over trafficked, so I didn’t use it. Likewise, the camp wifi is good but unusably slow when many people get on it. Antenna reception is good for all major networks. They have cable but I couldn’t test it as my system doesn’t work. I found very few campgrounds in the LA area and this one served my needs nicely.

Good size site. Packed dirt, level. Center sites back up to grass with palm trees. There is gate with key code for entry. Felt secure. Walking distance to pike outlet. Nice place to stay to explore king beach.

I love this park, it's so convenient to both downtown and the beach. Cheap laundry, spacious sites, definitely impressive for the coast and the price point is reasonable in comparison. Amazing T-Mobile service. But the dog rules man, either be dog friendly or don't. They really expect you to somehow control your dogs pee spots and they can only relieve themselves in a small dog run inconvenient to sites not in close proximity. Because of that I'd probably look elsewhere first, otherwise a great spot.

This is a small, busy urban park. Sites level packed dirt. Wide enough but kind of short for a bigger rig. Efficient, economical laundry and clean pool area. Can store bikes in office if you want. Road noise constant and loud, even at night. A good hour to Hollywood, downtown LA, Pasadena, Santa Monica. Much longer if you attempt the drive during rush hour. Easy walk to the harbor and aquarium and you can bike along a paved trail for miles down the beach. Grocery a mile or so away. WiFi ok but not good enough to stream. Lots of OTA channels.

15 minute walk to downtown Long Beach, 5 minutes to the ferry to Catalina. Clean, neat park, nice landscaping and sites. Sites are mostly hard packed decomposed granite, sort-of. Sounds dirty but it's not. Pretty level and clean. You'll hear city noises all the time. Gate guarded, need a code to get in, 24 hours a day. But this part of Long Beach is nice. Pool and laundry look good, all machines working. Wow $1 wash and $0.50 dry! Good AT&T 5G service.

Love this place, there is always staff cleaning the area. The other guests were quiet and respectful. Our RV in spot 4 was up against the freeway exit ramp but the ramp was up high so it was quiet in our spot. The park is gated so it felt safe. There are many nearby attractions including a park / parking lot that was empty so easy for kids to bike and scooter. It’s just a 10 minute walk to the Catalina Express boat. 20 minute walk to the aquarium and park with views of the Queen Mary. Lots of restaurants and shops around the harbor as well as boat tours The beach is a short drive. This would also make a great base camp for exploring LA, Santa Monica, Disney Land if you have a car. The only down side is that in the morning there was a petroleum smell from a refinery across the river but that usually went away during the day.

Needed a place to stay with everything filling up so far in advance, and this was all that was left. Nice to be near the beach, but my spot was near the entrance ramp so lots of traffic noise. Didn’t have 24/7 bathrooms. Also needed to have a letter mailed to me, since my car registration tag was expired. They wouldn’t allow me to have the one piece of mail sent there. That’s just a bit annoying to me because how hard is it to just take a letter, set it to the side, and I’ll come grab it from them. It’s the little things that make the difference to me and I don’t understand why some places don’t go out of their way to make RV life a bit easier for us full-timers.

Best thing is the location on the Long Beach waterfront. The RV park itself does not have waterfront access, but lies on bike/ ped paths that will take you to sandy beaches and a wide variety of restaurants bars and shops in minutes. Easy walk to downtown, minutes from Queen Mary and other attractions. Clean, well-run and secure. Some minor traffic noise and light pollution, but after all you are centrally located in a big city.

Well maintained sites. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside if I have to nitpick would be that I wish the spaces between sites were a bit wider. Great view of the shoreline and nice sunset hike to see queen mary, skyline and birds. Would definitely visit again and highly recommended.
