Glad Others Liked It. Booked As It Stated $54. After All Info He Stated $124. So I Pointed Out The Disparity And Quick As A Wink Says Oh That Was The Old Owner. Site Nice, Bunnies Nice, View Nice. No WiFi, Checked With Neighbors. So then No Verizon! All Three Of US Had Verizon. Went To Neighbor Again. „nah, If I Want To Make A Call, I Go Into Town“ So Perhaps We Just Had A Bad Experience. But I Will Not Recommended

Very convenient to all the historical sites an Hershy, PA, too. 50 amp full HU sites we gravel and close together. Staff and management were courteous and helpful. I'd stay along the creek with a 30 amp hu if I were to do it again.

We were early in the season, so lots of open sites. We were there for the battleground and Eisenhower attractions. CV-19 had some places closed including the Eisenhower farm building interiors. Try Garyowen Irish Pub; they know the area besides offering some great Irish dishes. This campground has JR's RV Service on site; they were a big help, twice.

If you’re looking for a backwoods, off-the-beaten-path type of campground, this isn’t it. If you are looking for a campground that is very close to an historical National Park not to mention shopping and restaurants, this is for you. The amenities of Gettysburg Campground are quite good: full hookups with cable, all working as expected. Level sites, friendly and efficient staff, decently sized sites long enough for my 32’ coach and a toad. The two drawbacks are that the sites are quite packed together and the noise of traffic – at least in the frontmost sites – can get rather loud at night. However, the proximity to Gettysburg National Park can’t be beat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gettysburg Campground. The campground has wonderful staff who do a great job and are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in site 61 which is one of the “buddy sites that allows rigs to face each other when your camping with a friend. The one negative to this site was that we faced into the afternoon sun. The sites along the creek are very nice with some having sewer as well as water and electric. All sites have water and electric at least though I’m not sure about the tent sites. The sites in blue and along the creek are all under trees which provide shade and a nice wooded feel. Our site was listed as being a 30A site but was actually a 50A site which we appreciated. Amenities like mini golf and shuffleboard are free and the pool was nice as well. The bathrooms are nothing special but they were very clean which was appreciated. We would absolutely return to this campground again and are going to be making reservations to do so soon. I would suggest a site along the creek or under the trees for most people though many of those sadly do not offer sewer. All in all I highly recommend Gettysburg campground.

Nice staff. The campsites are level, surrounded by trees for nice shade, and well kept. If you have Verizon wireless and use phones for hotspot you are in luck here, the service is excellent. We streamed all three days and never had any service interruptions. Bath houses were clean as well.
