Our frequent late-night travel often necessitates an overnight halt, and this KOA has consistently been our preferred choice. Despite some tight spots, we've managed to tow and position our 35-foot trailer without any issues, even in the dark.

We are new to the RV life, and this KOA was nothing but helpful to us! We are so happy to have stayed here, it was very quiet and relaxing. It also has an Ingles right across the street which was very convenient!

First stay with KOA and it was better then I expected my staff was super friendly and helpful. They even have a food menu that they will make for you and deliver to your site. Which was awesome after a long travel day. Just stayed 1 night so I was up near the front which was kinda noise due to i75 but inside my TT I couldn’t hear it. The site they had me in was not exactly level but I had enough blocks to fix it. Grounds were clean and lit well enough to walk dogs at night. Got much cozier the deeper into the property you got away from the road. Not bad for a travel stop.

We stayed in the open sloped sites in the back. Our site was level. This area has no trees, but it’s February and the noise from I75 was muffled. The roads are asphalt and the sites are gravel. We got warm cookies after we arrived, which was nice. Staff friendly and can be seen around the park a lot. Park looks clean and you need a Code to get in the gate. There’s a pond with many Canadian Geese. We’d stay here again on an overnight.

Overnight stay driving south. Very convenient just off I-75, but just far enough there was no highway noise. This is a pretty campground under the tall pines. Much of the campground is on a hillside, yet my pull-thru site was pretty level. Sites are tight, but neighbors are higher/lower, so seem a bit further away. Still, the beauty of the place is worth it. Did not use the bathroom/showers.

Best KOA we have ever stayed at (and we've been to at least a dozen in the past year!). Amazingly friendly staff, impeccably clean grounds, wonderful amenities (including free mini golf onsite) and they even delivered freshly baked cookies to our RV after we checked in! We will definitely return and will go out of our way to visit this RV resort next time we pass through Georgia!

First, I called to verify if spots near the “fishing lake” were available, and was told that yes, lots 21-25 were vacant. Just put them in the request section of the booking form. Within 3 min I had made my booking. And when I get there, they tell me that they had to put me somewhere else because the spaces I requested weren’t available! 😳 Then we find out the the Fishing Lake is a “catch and release” Lake. The sites were very narrow and not level. I realize now that the KOA Journey is just for stop overs and not for a prolonged stay due to the “big rigs” filing in every evening and gone by 10a the next day. We won’t be staying at a KOA Journey anytime soon. I guess it’s good just as a stop over, on your way to your destination.

Might be ok for overnight stay. Sites for bigger rigs in the “rally area” are horrible. Nothing is level and you’re on top of your neighbors. Our canopy literally hangs over the top of our neighbors camper. Staff is great. Grounds need a lot of help.

We didn’t camp here, but opted for a Lodge as to finally shower away some long nights actually camping and find a heat source better than a Mr Buddy and sleeping bags. However, I would note that cabins or RV, the next door freeway is just like a waterfall, loud and constant, if lacking the beauty and spraying mist. Cell service is also perplexing. Perhaps it’s the concentration of elbow to elbow campers galore, but that this is a relatively metropolitan area it’s curious that the Verizon signal works just okay for as many moments as it simply doesn’t work at all.

Only stayed here because everything within 150 miles was full. The site was the most narrow that I've ever experienced. Couldn't use the picnic table because there was no room. There were no trees or shrubs around the pull through spots. Cable channels were snowy. Many residents were using hotspots making my Verizon hotspot useless. Wifi signal was strong, but speed was .01 Mbps download, better after midnight.
