Das Gelände des Feriendorfes liegt auf dem Kraterwall des Pulvermaares, des größten Maares (= vulkanischer See) der Eifel. Von dort hat man einen herrlichen Blick in die weite Eifellandschaft. Am Maar gibt es ein Naturfreibad.

Das Feriendorf bietet Wiesen für Zelte, Wohnwagen, Wohnmobile. Holz-Bungalows für 2 bis 6 Personen können gemietet werden.

Kinderspielplatz, Tischtennis, Tischkicker, Fußballplatz. Wandern, Radfahren, Mountainbiken, Nordic Walking in der Umgebung. Das Feriendorf bietet Führungen an zum Eifel-Vulkanismus. Geopark-Gastgeber mit Sammlung an Lava / Mineralen.
