We stopped here on a trip from LA to Sierra City - and it lived up to all the accolades. Just 12 mins from mammoth lakes - had dinner there then headed here for the night. Easy access off the 395, lots of trees, level, restrooms, trash cans. It’s well lit at night. We found it very quiet and had no problem getting a good nights sleep.

There are dumpsters here for you to throw away your trash, which is great if you’re boondocking across the way. There is also a spot for rv’s to fill water at, as well as two water pumps for water jugs near the bathrooms. There is a pet area as well.

As others have described there is free water fill for RVs near the dumpsters. Also, a couple of water spigots on the other hand of the parking lot near the restrooms if you just want to fill a water jug. We boondocked in the national forest area nearby for a couple of weeks so the water fill, trash disposal, and recycling bins were really convenient. No dump, but there is one in Mammoth Lakes at the Community Water Authority ($10 fee).
