A real “Find”. Quiet and peaceful week days but we were told gets packed with families on summer weekends. We were happy to stay in our small tent on one of their many grassy and shady “Primitive camp sites” between the ponds & easy walk to a pavillion with squeaky clean restrooms & showers. Sites have good tap water, power, picnic tables & 1-2 fire rings. There are also big open fields and forest camp sites further back & down hill if you really want to get away. Very friendly staff. Heather is owner but her parents help maintain the grounds. This is a big RV resort as well with dozens of hardsides that apparently stay from April through October. Others rent monthly. However they are far from the tent and cabin areas. Swimming, bosting & fishing - I did see trout in the recommended swimming pond. A 15 min drive N from I-72 but well worth it as we cross coast to coast.
