Cotter Campground

2611, Stromlo
Australian Capital Territory, Australia

On the outskirts of Canberra, this is a very popular campground with hot showers, alongside the Cotter River.
The campground is very large, with seperated areas for different types of camping (caravans, tents etc) There are good quality amenities, with flushing toilets, hot showers, and barbecues as well as picnic tables / shelters and fire rings (bring your own wood). It is a grassy area with mature trees, and a park-like feel very suitable for families as there is plenty of room for the kids to run around.
