Beware of any confrontation with owners. On our 3rd of 4 booked trips the owner confronted my wife in a very confrontational way. He was livid due to the children in our group and and other opposite site playing ball together. He pushed the point that it was not allowed and you must go to the field. Yet the T&Cs on their own website stipulate you CAN play ball if not disturbing others. Due to this I called up saying that we felt unwelcome on the site and didn’t want to attend our forth booking in 3 weeks. Will, the son then went on to say we would not be welcome back anyway and that we have to leave now. He proceeded with threats to call the police. I said we would leave now if refunded for both trips, but he refused a refund. I said they cannot refuse to honour a booking and refuse a refund. So refund us or we will stay. This went back and forth for some time. FYI - I recorded this conversation for my legal protection. Luckily with my years of experience in dealing with irrational people and those with special needs; I was able to remain calm and speak to them in a way to buy us 2 days until we were ready to leave. I know we won’t get a refund for our next trip by writing this, but £250 well spent! I would say you could stay and hope to avoid any confrontations with the inhuman people running it. As it is a nice site (hence 4 bookings in 12 months!) but I would say do so at your own risk. As you may be abiding the rules yet still get kicked off! Should you like playing with fire and want to experience the roller coaster; I suggest recording every interaction with the owners for your safety/ legal protection/ amusement. You never know when it might kick off!
