De weide waarop onze tenten stonden was ruim en droog. Je kon met de kano direct vanaf de camping het Damsterdiep op. Het sanitair was schoon en fijn dat het warme water voor de afwas vrij was. Een vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. De lokatie is heerlijk rustig. Het enige dat je hoort zijn de koeien van de buurman, dat hoort dan ook bij het landelijke karakter?. Eten kun je goed in Appingedam.
