Leuke camping, fijne sfeer, niet te groot. Er is een mix van Nederlanders, Italiaanseen Franse kampeerders.
Ook voldoende jonge kinderen die zich erg goed vermaken in het zwembad, bij de tafeltennis en in het "WiFi hok".
Op loopafstand een supermarkt, een ijssalon en diverse restaurants. Advies wel reserveren om (soms) te kunnen eten!
De camping ligt heel centraal in het Aosta dal. Een eventueel pluspunt zou zijn een speeltuin op de camping (of een samenwerking met de school) en een drinkgelegenheden/barretje.

De Aosta vallei is prachtig! De camping ligt in het dorpje Arvier, er is een klein supermarktje (waar je ‘s ochtends verse broodjes kunt afhalen) om de hoek, restaurantje (met nààst pizza’s ook Mexicaans (?) eten) en een gelateria op wandelafstand. Er is op de camping een zwembadje om even af te koelen, een gedeelde koelkast en een pingpongtafel voor de kinderen. Bezoek vooral het park Gran Paradiso (wij deden dat vanuit Cogne) en de Monte Bianco (Skyway vanuit Courmayeur). Wandel ook eens naar het schattige gehuchtje Leverogne waar de tijd is blijven stilstaan. De moeite waard is om dan daar te lunchen in het Hotel Beau Sejour (menu del giorno) tussen de locals! Kortom, camping Arvier is een prima uitvalsbasis om de Aosta vallei te ontdekken.

Leuke camping gelegen in een klein dorpje. Wij waren er in juni dus heerlijk rustig. Zwembad is alleen van 1430 tot 1830 geopend, geen idee waarom. Op loopafstand een supermarktje. Sanitair is ok, douchehokjes zijn klein waardoor je geen tas of droge kleding kwijt kunt. Maar al met al een leuke camping, zeker in het voorseizoen. En de regio Aosta is prachtig en zeer de moeite waard!
