De camping ligt mooi aan het lago Maggiore, het plaatsje Cannobio is heel leuk met mooie winkeltjes terrasjes, toiletgebouwen op de camping zijn erg verouderd, maar redelijk schoon. Maar.....Wij hadden reeds in januari een plek voor 7 nachten aan het meer gereserveerd, € 200,- aanbetaald, de gevraagde plek was ons ook toegezegd, maar toen wij op de camping kwamen kregen we een andere plek, erg klein en geen uitzicht! Toen ik hier een opmerking over maakte tegen de eigenaar was zijn reactie dat ik niet verplicht was om te blijven als de plek ons niet aanstond, ook al hadden we gereserveerd. Na 3 dagen wilden we inderdaad vertrekken en kregen we de rekening: € 467,- en de aanbetaalde € 200,- werd niet in mindering gebracht omdat we eerder vertrokken. We zouden dus in totaal voor 3 nachten € 667,- betalen. Toen ik zei dat ik dit absurd vond en niet wilde betalen werd hij heel boos en moesten we meteen de camping verlaten.
