Staff was friendly, but not our type of place. Mostly long term campers. No spots on river….all taken by long time campers. Wifi non-existent. Way off the beaten path and roads a little dicey for travel trailers. Barking dogs.

Great place snuggles up to the river has a few full timers here and are very welcoming. Cell service is nearly non existent (verizon) no booster, but they have free wifi. Great place for families with small children. Playground on site. Book 1 month and ended up staying 2. Kinda far out from town but thats kinda the point

My main issues: (1) our site was damp earth which made us wonder if the sewage outlet might have overflowed. Other RV sites had gravel pads or wood decks for cleaner pad sites. (2) location at bottom of canyon made my cell service inaccessible, even with the camp wifi. (3) The local soil is fine silt: the boat ramp provided River access but our dog did not enjoy the mud bottom and skipped swimming. That was disappointing. This place is more suitable to boating and fishing on the river. (4) the site is at the end of a very long and narrow road down the sides of the steep hill, past rolling fields and farms. Access is remote. It looked like several campers were Permanent residents. Camp is very quiet.
