Nestled in woodlands between U.S. 19 and the Gulf of Mexico. Homosassa State Wildlife Park is nearby. Fishing and boating opportunities are endless on the Homosassa River.
Our 5th wheel and F350 barely fit in the extremely narrow space. Despite the regulations stating only one vehicle per site, we found ourselves surrounded by sites overflowing with Class A or large 5th wheel vehicles, up to four extra cars or trucks, a boat, a boat trailer, and a golf cart. It seems the rules only apply to renters, not members. The noseeums are harsh, so you'll need a screened tent if you want to sit outside. Don't forget to include that with your boat, trucks, golf cart, and camper. The parking pads aren't concrete, they are made of gravel and dirt, and come with an uneven concrete patio that complicates parking. Large trees, while offering some shade, further complicate parking your camper. The laundry room is clean, though we didn't use the bathrooms. Water pressure is average. There are plenty of excellent restaurants, golf courses, and activities nearby. We reserved our spot a year in advance and paid a monthly rate of $995.

BLSki
It has it’s own boat landing & private marina available for a nominal fee. Community is very friendly & no political bias noted! It is a short bike ride to a local small store, bar & marina. Restaurants located along the River. Homosassa Springs nature park was a doable bike ride with electric assist bikes. We booked a year in advance for 2023

We arrived just before sunset but after office hours in a 44’ triple axle fifth wheel. Roads through park are very narrow, spots are tight to maneuver into. There are many semi-permanent residents but it feels like a vacation resort, not a mobile home park. Office staff and groundskeepers are incredibly friendly. As are neighbors

As are neighbors It’s soooo quiet here (at least in January) and very peaceful. The entire campground was asleep by 9pm. Walking the nearby neighborhoods is pleasant as every modest home has waterfront docks via canal. Bathhouses are extremely clean. Laundry is plentiful. $1.75 wash and $1.75 45 mins dry time. TINY dog park. Heated pool. River/ canal access. Good WiFi. Everyone was super happy and friendly. They love camping and part-time living there. Once you wiggle your rig into your space, you may not want to leave. You MUST SEE Three Sisters Springs! Scuba or snorkel Rainbow River, snorkel with the manatee and get PADI certified as a Manatee diver through American Pro Dive Shop in Crystal River. They are amazing!
