Overall we had a nice time here. It was fairly quiet, the folks were nice, and there was plenty to do around. We took the time to hike down and around Ohiopyle and spent some time along the river watching rafters and kayakers navigate the rapids. There was a good mixture of sites and the facilities were good. We took the time to get some laundry done and made use of the game room while waiting on them. A few games were out of order but that'll happen with kids being hard on them. The map and directions were a little complicated at first glance, could have used a touch better signage but that's just a nitpick as we were pulling in trying to find our site.

Spent two nights here and the office gave us an old map which had our site marked in the wrong spot. Finally got settled into the rights spot right across from the office and putt putt golf area :-( 80% of the residents are full timers with wooden decks built beside their RVs and PVC pipes running along the ground to sewage dumps. The office played loud music until 10pm on Sat night. We only stayed there because we were close to Ohiopyle SP and got in some beautiful hikes. Then on the way out we realize they don't even have a dump station and we had to dump at a Loves Truck Stop out on the highway.

This place was so great (fall/mid-October) I’ve now looked at their rental cabins and permanent RVs for a weekend away at some point. We only stayed for one night, but the late 3pm checkout time was a godsend - thanks to two interstate shutdowns, we got in at 8 am to sleep, dump the tanks, and take on some water, and left at 2 pm. But it was a beautiful campground, and quiet the morning we were there. There were at least two lakes I noticed on the map (not near our lot, and we didn’t have the time to explore). I didn’t take any screenshots there to be able to reference our AT&T bars, but neither of us had any problems with texting (both SMS and iMessage) or loading the GPS app to find the nearest gas station. So the AT&T connection was at least fine!

This park is 3/4 permanent campers and everyone is nice. In the FHU area, our site (11) was not level at all. In fact, as we saw most RVs coming and going, almost everyone was having a hard time getting level. Site 9 appeared to be the most level FHU spot. The park has putt-putt, laundry, game room (currently closed), pool (closed) and a small camp store. I loved that it is only 5 miles from Ohiopyle SP, Fallingwater and Fort Necessity. My complaints is the quality of the sites and the fact that the operating hours posted on the laundry/store windows are not accurate. When I brought this to their attention, they didn't seem to think it was an issue since the permanent residence knew the true hours.
