Bayou Marino in Westlake, La shouldn’t be confused with Bayou Oaks in Lake Charles,La. Please lookup Bayou Marino in Westlake to see reviews for my park. Nothing about my park will lead you to believe we’re closed.

The images seem to be of a bygone era, as the park appeared largely deserted. Apart from my first telephonic conversation, all subsequent interactions were via text messages and emails. The Wi-Fi was dysfunctional and there was no response to my pleas for assistance through email or text. Our primary need was a place to rest and this location served that purpose. The place is wonderfully situated, just off route 10. With some extra care and maintenance, this place has the potential to thrive and justify its nightly rate of $53. There are no drive-through sites available.

This is not what I consider a campground. It's just a place to park with full hookups. Pics are probably before the hurricane. I only texted the attendant and they were nice however, this is just an overgrown grass lot with grass clipping covered gravel and pads. Never could get the WIFI to work but the staff tried. I expect the new owners are doing the best they can and with time it will be nice again. But for now you may want to try somewhere else.

Great nights sleep. Easy access from interstate. Easy check-in, pleasant staff. 30/50 amp, water, sewer, level concrete pad, fast wi-fi, 4 bar Verizon, low road noise. We did not check out the laundry or the restrooms, but it was a new building. We will stay here on our return trip!

Horribly overpriced, but level gravel sites with concrete pads and FHUs. Nice bathrooms and showers. This is a “nothing” RV park though, a couple of long termers and a bunch of empty sites. Not sure what the resort price (it should be half of this) justifies. The park is situated between a laser tag joint and a lower end motel, but kudos to its nearness to I-10. Arrival super easy- just confirmed we were in our site via text message. No one on site to check in with…

This park had been hit hard by hurricane. Aquired new owners and it now has new bathrooms, laundry, and all pad sites have fresh gravel with a concrete pad to step out on. Very clean, lots of trees. Best of all 5 min away from casinos!
