Kosciuszko National Park

Stunning little campground on the Snowy River in Kosciuszko National ParkGreat little spot for swimming and fishing if the weather is good. The camp site is beautiful and right on the edge of the Snowy River. It was empty when we visited so had the whole place to ourselves.

Hastings Forest Campground

On the Esperance River in Hastings Forest, there is a short walk from the parking area to the campsites. There are picnic tables and shelters at the picnic area and fire rings at the campsites.

Gunnai Beach Campground

Very small campsite behind Gunnai Beach in Cape Conran Coastal ParkThere are no facilities here, not even toilets. There are two sites available for pre-booking. Short walk over sandy track to the beach. AccessThis campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Talia Caves Campground

Talia

Basic bush camping on the edge of stunning limestone cliffs. Talia Beach is just to the south of the campground, however be careful as strong rips can be present, and this area is known for large waves.

Cooks Mill Campground

A pleasant old sawmill clearing (partially revegetated) sheltered in a forested valley near the bubbling Little River. There are groups of scattered sites, semi-secluded by bush and distance, designed mainly for car/tent camping, however small caravans and campervans will fit.

Tom Groggin Campground

Murray Gorge

Large grassy campground on the banks of the upper Murray river. Fires are permitted in built fire places, unless fire restrictions are in place. Picinic tables and long drop toilets are provided. Ideal for the trout fisherman.

Chifley Dam Campground

Basic, free camping, a short stroll from the shore of Chifley Dam. There are only 4 sites here (suitable for caravans/campervans). Each site can have more than one tent though, with a maximum of 12 people per site.
