We reached our destination around noon and had no trouble settling in. The host was direct and no-nonsense, not particularly warm but certainly not impolite. Managed to get some washing done in an old but spotless facility, visited the immaculately maintained pool on two occasions, and found the children's play area to be excellent. Our site was adjacent to a beautiful green area and a small pond, home to fish, lizards, and crayfish, which thoroughly entertained my eight-year-old. Despite the presence of numerous permanent residents, all of our interactions were pleasant. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this location.

Over the past couple of years, I've spent a cumulative two months at this location. Regardless of the nature of your telephone inquiry, the response is invariably impolite. The environment isn't hazardous, but it's a stony path frequently littered with dog feces. My visits here are infrequent and sporadic.

I feel like I’m writing a review for a different place than some of the other reviews I see. This place is great. We have been on the road since Oct and we are getting a pretty good idea of what to expect when we book a RV Park versus Campground. Most RV Parks appear to always be tight together versus the space a campground gives. Yeah, thing we’re close, but not so close that you can’t open your slide outs and awning and still leave another 6 feet. Actually able to park my truck next to the camper. This place is huge with over 400 sites. Paved roads, 2 pools that are very clean and decent sizes. Cable TV with over 50 channels which is great since the WiFi and phone service is week if you like to stream. It’s very clean, plenty of trash containers spread about the park. Close to the highway and only about 1 1/4 from SF and 30 min from Sacramento. The price could be a little lower.

Most sites are long term and appear to be families and workers rather than retired folk. Short term area has gravel pull throughs with trees and easy access to the office and pool. Laundry worked well but only half as many dryers as washers so got backed up. Park is very busy with people coming and going constantly and RVs are permitted to arrive any time. We had to endure trucks idling and doors slamming at 2am one night. San Francisco is 90-120 min away and Sacramento about 45. Any store you could want nearby. WiFi pretty wimpy.

Many full time residents, lots of vehicles and an always full garbage site.

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. We were in site 61, a “Premium” Pull-through site, for 3 days in early October, while visiting family in the area. This is probably the most critical review of a CG that we have posted in the 2 years we’ve be full-timing and for $76/night (with discount), I would expect much, much more from a CG. The staff at checkin were very friendly, but we didn’t see anyone patrolling the CG while we were there. It was fairly quiet when we arrived during the week, but got a little raucous on the weekend and I-505 road noise is fairly noticeable at night. The CG is “clean” and otherwise quiet, but showing its age a bit. The two pools looked pretty decent, but we didn’t use them. All of the sites are fairly short and very close. Bigger rig tow vehicles either extend into or are parked partially on the roads through the CG, although the roads are fairly wide throughout. The CG consists mostly permanent/semi-permanent residences. Most of those sites are are all gravel. There appeared to only be a few transient spaces, maybe 12-15, which were also short, but with grass, tables and foliage between sites. There are no green spaces to walk your dog. Everything that isn’t paved or graveled is basically bare dirt or tall, dead weeds, except the playground and one other area, and neither of those areas allow dogs. You are pretty much relegated to walking the CG roads or using the “off-leash” area, which is a fenced in treed area but is also just bare dirt and clearly not everyone cleans up after their dogs. They have signs for a Pet Walk, but this is just a very short walk on more dirt. The ponds on the map are fenced off and are either muddy brown or algae green pits with fountains - not very aesthetically appealing. AT&T coverage was just ok, with 2 bars of LTE and speeds up to 0.8 MB/s. The CG WiFi through TengoInternet.com is bit wanky, only allowing 3 connected devices and requiring a Browser to connect, so devices without one (Apple TV, WiFi router, etc.) are out of luck. Their website had a link to a page that was supposed to tell you how to connect them, but resulted in a 404 page not found error. We saw speeds up to 1 MB/s., but much less when everyone is online. Disconnecting WiFi and reconnecting seemed to help some. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were 35 OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna. We would not stay here again.

All gravel. Tiny concrete pad for picnic table. A wee grass patch is only for “premium” sites and that’s laughable. Nasty restrooms and showers. Two small pools, un helpful staff. Would not stay here again.

Stayed 2 different times. Sites fairly level, but it’s tight between sites. Looks like a newer section provides a little more space. Pools looked clean, maintained. Used the laundry rooms and those worked well. Staff friendly. Showers were okay. Quiet community and many people appeared to be there long term. Still, decent place to stay and easy access to outlets and other areas in Vacaville and Fairfield. I think we had good Verizon and At&t cell coverage, too.

I stayed here one night while traveling on I-80. We were able to call to check for availability for the same night. The staff was accommodating of our late arrival, and the site we were assigned was very close to the entrance and easy to access. The site was gravel and dirt, mostly level from left to right. It seemed like there was a mixture of travelers and long-term occupants in the park. I didn’t use any of the facilities. Power, water, and sewer worked as expected.

Spent a nice quiet evening here on our way along I80. Got one of their premium pull-through sites. Nice well kept park. Flat spot, easy hookups and nice landscaping. Not too far off I80, but far enough so there’s no traffic sounds.

Our son & his family are currently staying here - as are many other long term visitors - many of them utility workers repairing damage done by recent fires. Over the last couple of years this park has really changed. Most interior roads are now paved. Lots of new sites have been added. The park is an interesting mix of old & new. We’ve stayed in what was the newest section, but next visit wasn’t! We’ve stayed in what was, and still is the old. Pros & cons to the various areas but I’d willingly stay at any again. If you have to be close to sf . . .
