Stonehouse Campgrounds is located 2 locks north of historic Marietta which features the yearly River Front Roar boat racing, and Marietta Sternwheel Festivals, along with other numerous museums, and tourist attractions. Also located 3 locks south of the historic Stockport Mill, which sets on the river at Lock 6 in Morgan County. Offering seasonal camping only at this time. Shelter area available for large gatherings. The Muskingum River Lock System Construction began in 1836 and completed in 1841 is the oldset of its kind in the nation.
