When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Beth! She was incredibly amicable and well-versed about the locality, and was not at all bothered by the number of kids we brought along. It's common to see big families who are camping and they are always very considerate. Not all camping sites are as tolerant. I was particularly fond of the regulations that ensured a very tidy setting for families!! A big thank you to everyone for a wonderful one-night stay!!

Overall, my stay here was decent. Beth was extremely helpful during my check-in process. My spot was rocky but fairly flat. The communal bathroom was pleasant. There was no cable television and the Wi-Fi was unreliable, but apart from that, everything was satisfactory. Considering the cost and the place, it's quite a good deal.

This charming and compact camping ground, managed by a genuinely affectionate pair residing on the premises, is kept in excellent condition. The spots may be closely packed but are relatively even. They provide propane refills and a petite store for campers, including a complimentary swap for books and DVDs. The restrooms are spotless and have been recently modernized. There's also a tiny pond for fishing, with cane poles provided. Its location is conveniently close to Mammoth Cave National Park and I-65, yet it remains peaceful. With discounts from Passport America and Good Sam, the cost of your stay is significantly reduced. I make it a point to lodge at this camping ground whenever I visit this region!

We reached out and the incredibly amiable individuals gave us a heartwarming reception, as well as advice on exploring the colossal caverns. It's an excellent spot to take a break if you're journeying down Interstate 65.

We made a spontaneous visit to the Mammoth Caves. Our guide, Elron, was extremely helpful. The place is equipped with power, water and sewage facilities, a bathing area, and WiFi coverage across the entire park, although it can be as inconsistent as mobile network. We managed to stream a few shows but experienced some delays. The park boasts large open spaces and a beautiful pond. They also offer propane for sale.

Very quiet campground, if that’s what you are seeking. At first glance it seems nice. But please read the rules carefully because what you see on the website is NOT what they hand you upon check in. Very quiet because they expect you to be “absolute quiet, fires out, everyone in and settled for the night” at 10pm. Not a problem for some people and it really wasn’t for me; however, I didn’t like the tone. I do feel I was discriminated against for being a smoker but that’s their choice. We are self contained so I can’t comment on the bath facilities. I have Verizon and T mobile. The T mobile MiFi worked fine without buffering. Verizon was useless for anything. I could text and call with T mobile, no internet. So was the campground WiFi. If you need to work don’t count on it. It constantly dropped out. We had a pull through site, it was decently level with gravel and grass. Cigarette butts in the fire pit, but otherwise clean. Our site was small but comfy. It would be great for star gazing if the enormous flood lights didn’t ruin it! I wouldn’t stay again due to the feeling I got on check in but if you’re a teetotaler, non smoker with a Christian outlook you’ll probably be treated differently.

This place is nothing fancy and is in fact pretty old. But the owner was so nice and helpful, it more than made up for any spiffy new touches. There seemed to be more non-vacationers camped there, even in such a heavily tourist area. The grounds are well kept and lovely. The bathhouse, though old and of a jerry-rigged nature, was very clean. Neighbors were all quiet and respectful. Close to Mammoth and in a quiet bucolic spot. I can see we were given a wifi code but can't recall if it was strong. I think we had good OATV and working Verizon but I didn't note it in my journal, Kind of a blast from the past type place, and liked it just fine.

Singing Hills is a nice private RV park near Mammoth Cave. We stayed one night. Sites 37, 39-44 are not shady, while the lower numbered sites have shade. The park streets and sites are gravel. The park was clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. They have a huge selection of DVDs and some fishing poles you can use for free. Stayed in pull through campsite #49 which was not shady but mostly level. It was a gravel site with grass on either side. There was enough parking for my 34 ft TT and truck. Neighbors are close. The site included: picnic table on grass and fire ring. Utilities: 20/30/50A electric in back. Water in back, good pressure. Sewer in middle with threaded fitting. AT&T had 2 bars of LTE and Verizon 1 bar of LTE service. AT&T Speedtest: 3 Mbps down, 1 Mbps up. Verizon Speedtest: 0.15 Mbps down, 0.13 Mbps up. Free WiFi Speedtest: 24 Mbps down, 15 Mbps up, but frequently drops out. Would stay here again

We stayed in site 7 for a couple of nights with our tent-camping friends who stayed in site 8. Though neither of these sites are shaded, we were able to park “backwards” in our pull-through site and we shared our awning. The little catch-and-release pond is well-stocked and there is a catfish pay lake across the street, so our boys had plenty of fishing to keep them busy. Our site was reasonably level, but if there is rain forecasted, I strongly recommend different sites as these sites are the low point in the CG. I’m sure the very friendly owners would be happy to switch you to a different site if that happened though.

Rate reflects a Passport America discount. They also accept Good Sam and other clubs. The campground consists of gravel pads (many pull through spots) with grassy areas. There isn't a large amount of space between sites, however the place is quiet and peaceful, even when full on the weekends. Our site (18) was lovely with a small bridge that leads to the picnic table and fire ring. We would definitely request Site 17 or 18 the next time we stay. Some sites are water electric only while most have full hookups. The park is well laid out and easy to navigate even with a big rig. The campground is just a few minutes off I-65 (take exit 53 for the easiest access). Only 15 minutes to the main Visitor Center at Mammoth Cave, this is a perfect jumping off point for many area attractions such as Dinosaur World. Cellular service was fine with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. No booster needed. The uploads were a little slow, however we had no trouble streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. The owners of the campground are so friendly! They go above and beyond for their guests. We were confronted by another camper during our stay and the owners promptly resolved the matter and checked back in with us later to fill us in on the issue. The owners clearly take pride in their campground and it shows! This is an excellent place to come for a relaxing vacation. There are no full time residents and it is not a rowdy, party campground. There is a catch and release pond stocked with fish. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Mammoth Cave.

This CG is about 3 miles off the freeway, 8 miles to the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center and has 50 amp FHU, mostly pull-through sites. Some are not as level as others, but most of them are quite good. The pad is gravel. Reservations were made over the phone and did not require a deposit - just an assurance that we would let them know if we weren't going to make it. The owners live on site and are very friendly. There is a lending library in the office along with ladder golf, basketballs, volleyballs, etc. to play with. There is propane available near the office, also. This is not a resort-style campground, but there is open land to walk a dog, a pond to fish in, and convenient to both the freeway and Mammoth Cave. This is our 2nd stay there and we would not hesitate to come back. Verizon bandwidth was fine for streaming video, uploading photos.

Picked due to being so close to Mammoth as we were passing through. DJ and Beth were very helpful both before and during check in. There are a few awkward sites and we had to move twice to get a spot we felt we could fit in and be level. Other than campgrounds in Mammoth I think this might be closest with hook up- be aware that some have sewer but some are just water/electric but have a dump on site.

Our reservation was for only two nights but we decided we liked it so much we asked for an additional night. DJ was awesome, friendly and helpful. We also met some incredibly nice neighbors, Mike and Moe! Even though the small park was half full, it was peaceful and very quiet and we had very good WiFi. Would definitely recommend.

Good choice for close to Cave attractions and provisioning supplies. Cave City has a great laundromat connected to car wash, fast food, restaurants, fuel. A bit further is Glasgow for Walmart & Kroger groceries. Anything more you can travel 40mi to Bowling Green. Nice accomodating staff, camp far enough off the local highway that noise was negligible. The sites are gravel & grass on the sides, with pull throughs & back-ins, but are a bit too close for 'spreading out'. Unfortunately during the time we were there (Halloween) it rained off/on and was cold at night (arrival & departure in the rain). Some sites had drainage problems, and ours never really dried out. Those conditions coupled with the weather forced us to spend more time inside the camper and touring the attractions rather than any camp fire time. Lots of green grassy field for dogs to walk through. Pond for fishing and good drives & dump station. Restrooms/showers looked good....what's that saying(?) "you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig!". Current modern tiled walls & floors but the outside could use some TLC. The worst was the bugs sharing your shower! Cockroaches galore when turning on the shower; consequently we opted for our camper's shower.

So close to mammoth cave and close to shopping and great Mexican food. We stayed in a water and electric site right next to the barn. This place i has beautiful trees and is very well kept. The owner is a true southern gentleman in all the best ways. The showers and bath were always spotless with plenty of hot water.

We were passing through and wanted to see the caves. Shot a reservation request based on the Google and Campendium reviews. NOT disappointed. Within an hour, Eldon responded that he made us a reservation. No deposit needed....they work on the honor system and only ask that if your plans change, to let them know as soon as possible. How fantastic is that!?! What is most striking is the open feel of the park. It's so well manicured and has an open, comfortable, and inviting feeling. We had a huge amount of room between site 41 to our left and less so with our neighbors in site 43 but, still, open, comfortable and inviting. Power: 50A/30/20 at our site. 50A tested fine at 123/4v per line, 60Hz - no issues. Water: Good pressure. Water was clean. Dump: at the site with two receivers about 8ft apart. Access: It was fine with our 43' rig towing a 22ft trailer. They have a turnaround in the back when it's time to leave but if someone is at the dump station, you'll have to wait as there wasn't enough room to turn around for us before the loop. Even the loop is tighter for our size rig so we hit the grass in the turn. No problems. Why 5-stars. It was the friendliness and hometown feel of Eldon the owner and his graciousness. Super friendly. They information sheets and rules are well organized and clear and concise. They even recommend places to dine and see. This park rose above so many amenity-rich parks but which were either crowded or came with staff grumpiness. Not here. We loved it!

We had a 50a FHU pull thru on gravel. The site was long enough for us and our tow. We were in 44 which has a huge grassy area on one side. That was nice. Sewer hookup was half way down the site and elec/water at the back. Eldon was very nice at check in and gives you lots of info on the area. Price reflects our good Sam discount. WiFi was about as good as most RV parks which isn’t great. We had good Verizon service. Did not check out the bath house. No laundry or pool. Our site was at the end of a one way road so when we unhooked our jeep we had a choice of going the wrong way on the road or over the grass to get out. Overall nice but I don’t see it as a 5 star. It was quiet at night.

We stayed two nights with Passport America discount. Eldon is very helpful and friendly and easy check in. Some full hook up sites are very narrow. Super easy access to Mammoth Cave National Park. WiFi available but easily overwhelmed if many guests.
