The daily cost for brief visits is $77. However, our extended stay of 4 months brought the daily cost down to $35. This is our first experience here and our initial attempt at spending the winter away from our home. Currently, in March, the laundry facilities are a major issue, with 3 to 5 machines out of order for several weeks and no clear plan for their repair. This issue is present in two out of the three laundry rooms. The patio area is a mix of gravel and cement. We're hoping they'll replenish the gravel before the next year, as it tends to turn to mud in the rain. On the bright side, the location is excellent and the community is welcoming. The park offers a variety of activities and hiking trails are nearby. Tucson is a wonderful place. However, the noise from the nearby airport and military flight path can be a bit disruptive.

The resort is quite expansive, mainly consisting of park model homes. It features asphalt roads and stone RV sites, complete with petite concrete patios. The sites are designed for reversing in, and can accommodate large vehicles, provided the neighboring resident hasn't infringed on your allocated area. The spacing between the sites is minimal. The resort is secured with a gate and offers various facilities. Interestingly, there are no speed bumps within the premises. Separate areas are designated for pets and non-pet owners. All necessary services are a short drive away, but expect to encounter heavy traffic. The nightly fee includes a 50% discount for Passport America members. Like most large resorts, there are numerous rules, but it seems that most of them, such as quiet hours, age restriction, etc., are enforced at discretion.

Most of Rincon Country West RV Resort is really for folks who are living them permanently or seasonally in their park model homes. Only in the far back corner is there really parking for JUST RVs. (Although even that "back corner" is probably home to well over 100 spaces.) So it feels like driving through a miniature suburban subdivision. It's location is in the heart of Tucson, so there's NO feeling of "getting away from it all" by staying here. In fact, your hear planes, helicopters & traffic. It's a city. But for us, spending 5 days exploring the area, it was a fairly central jumping off point for our explorations. We had a "deluxe" pull-through site, which got us a nice patch of grass, a charcoal grill, a picnic table, good water pressure, clean electricity and a site with two different dump spots. There was cable TV available and wifi, but we just used my Verizon hotspot for streaming some Netflix and that worked great. We were close to our neighbors, but not TOO close. The more "normal" spaces near us would have put you in much closer proximity to your neighbors. For us, it was worth the extra $5 or so per day. (Having said that, the place really is pretty pricey. $70 per day is near the top of what we've paid.) The place has many amenities, none of which we availed ourselves of. We were really only there in the evenings and for sleeping. But pools, sports courts of all kinds, several nice dog parks, rec center, auditorium, etc. etc. I would think someone longterm would find lots to do. The security here is pretty stringent, which is nice. We'd certainly stay here again.

It says it is, but it absolutely is not. Most places will accommodate a large class A with a tow by either offering to let you drop it nearby if they don’t have a pull through available. These guys don’t even allow you to have a large rig. It is mis advertised

The review that says the price is $27 needs to be replaced. I pulled in and said that I wanted to stay a week and received a bill for $366. I should have called ahead and verified. Won’t happen again. The monthly rate is $895.
