The campsite features solid cement platforms with complete amenities. The size of the lots varies significantly, with some being quite large and others a bit compact. The employees are extremely welcoming, as are the fellow campers. A considerable number of regular campers reside here. There's also a newly developed section in the campground. On the downside, the Wifi connection is weak, mobile network coverage is poor, particularly for T-Mobile users, the water pressure is low, and the rates are somewhat high. The water pressure issue is so severe that we fill up our freshwater tank at night and rely on the pump during the day. As for the mobile network, our motorhome is tall enough to catch a signal, but it's not strong and often unreliable. Considering the local options, this campsite is a good choice. We've particularly enjoyed the warm camaraderie of the neighbors and staff. By summer, this place will be a top-notch camping spot.

Stayed at Caney Creek for one night on our way to New Orleans. The campground is full of, what looked like, permanent residents. Having said that, it was pleasantly quiet. Clean and very well maintained. Had a pull thru with full hook-up. Pretty close to level site. Stayed hitched for easy get up and go. The community is very nice, with a pool, beach and docks for each loop. Caney Creek (I'm assuming) is really pretty. Overall, very nice campground. Iyou're looking for space and privacy, you won't find it here. But if that's your style of camping, Caney Creek is a nice place to stay!

It’s an awesome park. Lake, pool, playground. My toddler was a happy boy, so I am a happy momma. We originally booked for one and decided to stay as long as we could. Clean, friendly, and charming. 10/10
